Showplace Fashion Furniture — Local services in Lake Havasu City

Stay away from this place! I purchased a bar and stools from Showplace and after getting the bar delivered I realized that I didn't need one of the stools that was on order. I called Brooke and let her know to cancel one of the stools and she said okay. Brooke told me I could get a refund or instore credit. I told her I would look around and see if I liked anything else. I went once to take care of it and the manager told me that Brooke had to be there to take care of me. I looked around while I was there and found nothing I liked. I returned today and asked Brooke for a refund on the stool and the manager would not give me a refund. I asked why? She said because they had to order it as a special order which is not noted on my sales receipt. Actually when I came to pick them up they only had two of them so the other one I didn't need was succesfully cancelled. Brooke was really helpful but the manager was rude and I would not buy anything from that store! Michael Allen is the place to buy furniture in this town. They have always treated us great! All ways remember shopping here that there are NO refunds! You wouldn't know that until its too late. So if something doesn't fit or you may have changed your mind. Forget...

Suggest shopping other locations as Michael Alan, Ashley, or surprisingly, Big Lots as the manager suggested. Purchased a $2250 sofa marked down to $1799 during a Memorial Day sale at this store. Asked if there were any extra discounts. They agreed to include the sales tax and said delivery was free. Two days later, we saw the exact same sofa available at Big Lots for $500 less, and found out it is also available at Ashley for $400 less. At Ashley the exact sofa is $1399 and Big Lots everyday price is $1299. With the significant difference we inquired. The manager told us, "Wish you would have shopped around first." My husband and I recently purchased a vacation home in Lake Havasu City and needed to furnish it . I had been looking for some time for “quality” furnishings and was very pleased to find what I was looking for at Showplace Fashion Furniture. Charlene was our sales Associate and she was very helpful, but not at all pushy. She was truly a pleasure to do business with! We purchased a dining room table (with a bench and 5 chairs) and a king sized master bedroom set. We were so pleased with our purchases and it was delivered in perfect condition the same day. I would highly recommend this business and we will definitely be coming back for more!
