Stayed here for business with a medium-size group for 11 nights. Our reservations were originally for 10 nights, but they were accommodating for our extra night. Check-in and check-out was very easy. The room that I was assigned was a double queen. The mattresses were good and soft enough. The pillows were flat and had little support. I had to double up. The sheets were clean and average. The comforter had some fluff and warmth. The room had its own AC unit and could be adjusted. The bathroom was a decent size, although the shower was a little narrow with it having a support handle. I kept hitting my arm on it when I showered. There are dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The were plenty of clean towels. The towel hooks on the wall were starting coming off, but still had enough to hold towels. Some rooms have a view of the lake, but I had the steeet view. There is a pool open from 08:00 to 20:00 but it's only 5 feet at the deepest part. They do have a lift for those needing assistance from a wheelchair. The pool deck has plenty of seating as well as a barbecue grill. Continental breakfast is served from 06:00 to 10:00, and was good enough for me. They always served scrambled eggs, and the protein always changed (bacon, sausage patty, or sausage links). There are things to make your own waffles, and plenty of different breads and muffins. Coffee is available all day in the lobby. There is a small bar that's open from 17:00 to 22:00, but only serves beer, hard seltzers and wine; no hard liquor. The front desk staff was friendly and always ready to help. The gym was small but had enough (treadmill and dumbbells) to do basic workouts. The business center is small with two computers and a printer. There is a large conference hall if needed, which can be divided in half if the whole hall isn't needed. Room cleaning had to be scheduled 24 hours in advanced, but they only came one out of the three times. There is plenty of parking around the hotel, and some security cameras watching over from what I've seen. The location is a five minute drive from most things and 10 minutes from center. There are things that are close enough to walk to as well. I wouldn't mind staying again; it...
Read morethe bed was comfortable; however, the room was horrible, whoever assigned the rooms, did a poor job, we had a window that overlooked a dirty side street, not even lakeside view or balcony. skimpy on the number of towels in bathroom, towels were not even standard size, as for the jacuzzi and pool area, my husband and i went to the boat parade around 7:00, stayed a few, got back in our room around 7:45, changed and went to the jacuzzi, we were not even in the jacuzzi 10 minutes before a brood of jr high/high schoolers in red windbreakers and pajama bottoms, came in, with them was a white hair grandmother wearing sweats and pajama top, another woman heavy set wearing a black swim dress, around 68, another wearing black and white checked pajama bottoms, coat grey hair in long ponytail, 3 other young women ages 18 to 20 one with dark hair, a loud mouth, the others blonde an light brown hair, wearing matching pajama tops and bottoms, with alcohol in their hands, and a elderly man dark grey hair, wearing blue sweat top and sweats, all preceded to jump in the pool, making loud noise, yelling, and screaming, another fat man wearing black and white pajamas and a green coat, proceeded to walk Aroun to pool, from outside the fence next to jacuzzi after texting these animals and proceeded to jump in pool, then they bombarded the jacuzzi wearing clothes and reeking of alcohol, and yelling, i reported it to a woman at a desk, they i know could hear the goings on and done nothing about it, also kids running up an down the halls banging on doors, toys in dining room walkway by outer door, pool towels not available by pool, and the ones the woman gave me were a joke. these jerks knew what they were doing, we couldn't even relax and enjoy the jacuzzi/they were grandparents an parents of these kids that were a team of some sort, what a joke. as for the concierges, they don't doo their job. WONT BE...
Read moreThis is the last time I’m staying here. I’ll sleep in my car before I stay at this place again. Stayed for over a week. Three days in the “King Standard” room. When I first got here the desk clerk told me I don’t get two bottles of water despite being a Diamond member. Said she would give it to me “ this time but in the future you don’t get it”. Apparently this hotel marches to the beat of a different drummer. Room had no electricity and I couldn’t figure out why. Called for maintenance and was told they were at lunch. Two hours later the maintenance guy showed up and determined someone had unplugged everything behind the wall unit which required him to move it to get to the plug. Ridiculous. Shade fell off when I attempted to open it to get some light in the room. Once again maintenance took two hours to get there. I asked for a blanket and two extra pillows at 9 AM and had to call three more times before someone finally brought them to my room at 2 PM. After three days I switched to a “King Suite” and stayed there six days. Room was dirty with black fingerprints all over the inside of the door, television covered in fingerprints and all the light switches black with grime. I used Lysol wipes to clean all the surfaces myself and when I wiped down the top of the mirror I found black grime, hair and who knows what. Above the mirror was a spider in residence with quite a few mosquito carcasses in its web. Carpet was so dirty my feet became black when I walked around on it. When I talked to the Manager she said they “ are doing the best they can but they are short staff”. Well if that’s the case why are you still charging premium rates for a room that the guest has to clean? I’ve stayed at Hilton properties over 80 nights in the last six months. I have 275,00 points and I’m a Diamond member. This hotel does not deserve to wear the...
