This is a great little museum with very helpful local staff and volunteers. Learn all about the local rocks and minerals that were mined here and get the story of Mr. McCullough and his crazy idea to put a bridge that was sinking into the Thames in the middle of a fornlorn desert! The story of how they marketed the lots around the river to potential buyers is fascinating. Saturday is the best day to go as a family! We were visiting from Mesa, AZ for the weekend and had the pleasure of meeting Ms Cathy at the front desk with the most beautiful smile.
