Walked in and ordered food with the lady at the register she took my order she confirmed everything with me as I ordered. Confirmed sizes and everything I wanted she took my payment said it would be right out. Didn’t give me a receipt( my mistake for not asking either) assuming everything was right she gave me the food and I left drove 15 minutes home take out to food to see we didn’t receive one of the items. I call the phone number and the lady asked for my number, I informed her I didn’t give a number so she wouldn’t find my order with a number, she asked again I gave it to her and she said what would you like to order.. said no I actually walked in and placed the order and I didn’t receive one item.. she asked what I ordered and I told her she found the receipt and said come on in… again I drove 15 minutes to the restaurant for the lady who took my order to start yelling at me that she didn’t charge me a large rice. I said okay I know I ordered a large rice you confirmed with me my order you said large. She goes to the back and gets another lady who started telling me I talked to her on the phone and she pulled the receipt there is no large on there so I ask her if that’s the case why would you guys ask me to drive all the way back here if I didn’t order it why didn’t you tell me over the phone or call me and tell me! Both ladies start full on yelling at me in my face that I didn’t order a large rice… they both go to the back and start screaming at each other come back and keep yelling at me I didn’t order a large rice. I tell them to just charge me the rice since I already made the 15 minute drive back. Charge me once again a small rice after yelling at me and giving me the wrong order once again… extremely disappointed in the customer service received from this place. Would not recommend this place. I hate leaving reviews but this was extremely unacceptable from a place of business the way they yelled at a paying customer...
Read moreI visited Lily Garden for the first time on 8/28/25 for lunch. It's a beautiful restaurant inside. I was greeted nicely by my server. I ordered pot stickers first, and then ordered Shrimp Kow. As part of the lunch special I received an egg roll and soup. I was truly looking forward to the pot stickers. I asked for them to be all steamed. Unfortunately they were terrible in my opinion. I no sooner ordered them and got them less than 5 minutes later. The outside doughy wrap was very thick and not cooked long enough. I was expecting the traditional "goyza sauce". I was told to use a botted vinegar sauce (already on the table. yuck,😖 see pic). Bad choice, I wouldn't recommend it. The egg roll (come with lunch specials) was ok. I will admit to being pleasantly surprised with the homemade hot mustard and s&s sauce. I didn't really care for the s&s. But that's just my taste buds. As part of the lunch specials you get soup. I asked for the hot n sour. Again, I was a bit disappointed. A bit watered down in my opinion. It simply didn't have that hot n sour bite. If you are familiar with hot n sour soup. The shrimp kow was very good, which came with bbq pork fried rice. The fried rice was again just ok. I asked for water to drink with lemon. For some reason the lemon in my water seemed to be already squeezed??? So there wasn't a big lemon flavor. I will try again. Sans the pot stickers. Hopefully your visit...
Read moreWorst customer service ever. I ordered online and made it clear I wanted sweet and sour chicken with the sauce in a separate container. It tends to make the chicken soggy plus may not be to my liking. While they did put sauce on the side, it flowed over onto the chicken, the whole 5 pieces of chicken. I believe this isn't a full order but have never (nor will again) ordered from Lily Garden. I called trying to explain and was met with inept employees who wanted to have me reorder a dinner. Both of the women I talked to try to defend the product but failed to listen to my concern. Ultimately they reach were talking over me, combative and I'll suited for their work.
As for the food, the egg roll tasted like it was fried in old oil, even drowning in duck sauce it was still mediocre at best. The bbq pork fried rice had very little pork or egg and no vegetables. I don't believe they use the proper technique for fried rice as it was more like white rice in soy sauce. The chicken was good but really 5 chunks for $10? The sweet and sour sauce was also good.
Will never consider this restaurant again. I was hoping for good food, met with bad food and horrible...
