I NEVER leave a review on anything, unless the product or service was just so outstanding, that I feel it deserves one. I can only think of maybe one other time I have left a negative review, but I was so disappointed with the LJ McAlisterās, so here I am⦠I love McAlisterās and donāt live in LJ, so I donāt get it very often. Therefore, I was super excited to get it today. I ordered ahead online, and picked up in the drive-through window. I ordered a club sandwich with a side of fruit and a tea, which came out to over $20, but I was really craving it, so I didnāt mind. I picked up my food in the drive-through window and was in a hurry to get to my next destination, so I did not check my bag before leaving. Once I finally checked my order, I saw that I was given a chicken salad sandwich instead of the club (which is more expensive), with fruit. This of course was very disappointing considering it is not what I ordered and Iām not a huge fan of their chicken salad, but the cup of fruit was even more disappointing. See photos showing how the fruit cup is advertised, vs what I got⦠no grapes, strawberries, blueberries, pineapple⦠just some cantaloupe and two bites of melon. I know prices are high right now, but $20 for a sandwich, some fruit and a drink is kind of pricey, especially when it is not what you ordered or had in mind. Needless to say, I will not be back...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo let me start off by saying I have never been here before Tuesday. Wasn't sure what to expect. My patient wanted to pick up food and take it home. We made a list and I went in and ordered. Immediately there was a little wait. All girls crew, two at the register up front the rest in the back. Almost seemed like a skeleton crew considering how busy that got in a span of ten minutes. One girl was just exhausted, the other one an older lady trying to get through the rush. I waited twenty minutes before her food was ready. There were two men in front of me. Maybe it was a rough day, time was short or they just were hangry. Waiting the time we did for two sandwiches had him upset. He wanted the manger. Situation could of gone horrible. Next thing you see, is a manager with a sweet nature pull him to the side and try to fix whatever the issue was. Whole time keeping her whit and professional nature. I give her props, because he was pretty upset. He leaves and I continue to wait. Our order is up, they apologize for the wait and the food is hot and correct. Unfortunately, the Ruben was not her favorite. Flavor was off and not enough sauerkraut.
Maybe the crew was having an off day to. I'm sure we will be back to try other menu items. I've now seen a rough day. Hopefully, next visit we can see them...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFood was good, however I won't be returning. The woman at the counter was extremely rude, gave my service dog dirty looks and was whispering to her coworkers pointing at my dog. She then said "Dogs aren't allowed here" and I said "She's my service animal" She then gets argumentative and said "Well you need to provide proof" and I proceeded to correct her that per ADA I am not required to show proof, and that real service animals don't have papers. That still wasn't enough so she had another co-worker get their manager, pointing at us and when the manager asked if she was a service animal I said yes and she told her employee I don't have to provide proof. I got so uncomfortable to the point where I had my husband finish ordering while I went to wait in our truck. As a disabled veteran it's hard enough going out in public as it is, and my dog is my freedom to be comfortable in public. She's my medical equipment, same as anyone who is disabled and I was...
