Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Lake Oswego

Freaky slow & freaky cold!

I've been coming here for years, so I think I can give a fair assessment of this location.

Jimmy John's is famous for its "freaky fast" subs l, but this location is very slow at making sandwiches. Now with toasted subs rolling out at JJ's, this has only slowed the process down even more. Other locations I've been to have had the order done in seconds after payment at the register.

This location also BLASTS the A/C year round. It is so cold and unwelcoming in there! I don't want to eat inside because I'm afraid I'll freeze!

The food isn't that consistent here either. Sandwich quality will vary depending on who's making it, but the most consistent thing is the slow time for them to make...

Arrived at 9:30pm and the guy in charge just seemed pissed-off that someone would walk in 30-min before closing. He had what looked like a high schooler working with him who looked like a he was having the worst time of his life working with this dude. They had everything out away half an hour before close and dude in charge was obviously upset he had to get the mayo and tomatoes out. Pretty sure he forgot the extra bacon I ordered as well. For any manager reading, the guy in charge was probably late 20s, goatee, and sagged his pants way too low (saw him leave after close). I visited the evening of September 19. Seems over staffed for quality received. I drove from Portland and selected drive up, there were 4-5 people in there just standing around and I had to get off my work call, go in and grab my food even though I checked in.

It doesn’t make sense that there’s no delivery to southwest Portland between the two closest stores. In order to avoid negative in store experiences maybe expand your delivery parameters so people can just pay an extra fee for delivery.
