At first impression this little hole in the wall stands out because of the not so subtle bowl of fire outside the front door. Upon entering this little bar on the strip in Lake Ozark you would expect another Smokey dive bar with scantily clad alcoholics seeking debauchery. But upon entering the bar you are immediately soothed by the subtle blue lighting that was strategically placed throughout the establishment. A warm calming environment in the midst of lake ozark chaos. As you walk in and see the selection of spirits it immediately becomes apparent that the bartenders here are equally as capable of mixing a classy martini as they are pouring you a glass from their wine selection. Upon taking a seat you will be greeted by Treacy, a warm smile and a hello immediately makes you feel comfortable ordering a beer or a shot of whiskey. I highly recommend this establishment...
Read moreMyself and my family came here to enjoy the great drinks they have to offer, and we're asked to leave because one of their "own" who suffers PTSD was walking around trying to start fights with anyone and everyone that walked into the bar. The bar is tiny, there was easily 25 people in there so we ordered our $15 drinks and headed straight out front so we could hear ourselves speak and not be around everyone just for the man to come outside and eye up each person and then continue to harass one of us until myself had to step in to avoid physical altercation. The owner himself explained he was heavily intoxicated and asked US to leave instead. The owner looked like he needed a wall to hold him up as well. I would be embarrassed...
Read moreI really hate to write this bad review but it must be done. As a former loyal customer, I am disappointed with the service I have been receiving at Lucy's recently. Several bartenders have been very rude to the point of customers leaving the establishment: Jennifer and Marla. Jennifer has been known to bar hop "on the strip" for jobs due to her attitude. Whenever she is working somewhere, I walk on by; as do many other locals that I know. Her time and energy is not worth our hard earned money. It's sad to see a nice establishment have someone of this nature working for them. Unfortunately, the loss of business can be detrimental in the long run and I will not be returning to Lucy's again. Caution: always ask for a receipt and they have been to known to way...
