Overall a very excellent experience due to the AMAZING service! My boyfriend and I got there and were able to sit upstairs at the bar immediately and the bartender, Caleb, was beyond helpful. We started out with drinks. I had the "the nectar of the gods" which was a pleasantly sweet and fruity drink, and the "pool bar" which was more fresh and light. The reason I'm giving four starts is because of the food, but when I say amazing service I mean AMAZING. I ordered the "Nashville Chicken Sandwich" which was so salty my tongue about shriveled up, BUT Caleb, the bartender, was so encouraging about having us express our thoughts that I gave my first honest answer at a restaurant. Let me start by saying I HATE complaining, especially at a restaurant because I know it's hard work and staffing is slim to none and service workers deal with rude people all day. Caleb asked us twice how the food was (probably because he noticed I barley ate any) so I finally said it needed less salt. He insisted we have it remade and the cook brought me up a new plate and forgot the fries, but Caleb noticed immediately and made sure I got another side of fries. When I got the "redo" sandwhich he asked how it was and I just looked at him and said it was good, but I guess my face wasn't lying and he looked at me and asked if it was still really salty. I admitted it was, but insisted that it is ok I can take it home and doctor it up to counterbalance all the salt. He seemed to understand but he STILL went the extra mile and had the manager remove the sandwich from the bill! I did not ask for him to do that nor did I want him to because when you go out to eat you should pay for your meal, even if it's not as good as you expected/wanted. Caleb definitely made our visit to Tuckers much more enjoyable! Thank you for...

First walk in, very loud overall environment. Don't expect to have a conversation without trying to talk loud, trying to think, or have a nice quiet meal. Although we were happy to be seated right away, that was a plus.
We spent A total $170 PLUS a generous tip for: Two ribeyes both with sides of mashed potatoes, green beens, small salad starter, oysters Rockefeller, and two beers.
Was not a cheap meal, was not suppose to be as we only come to the lake every so often. Was suppose to be a much nicer meal for the price.
The food was very salty / bland with flavor: mash potatos, green beans, and even the steak somehow??
The ribeye for the price was a very tough / rough cut of meat with little to no flavor. We both had to cut multiple pieces out of the meat that were hard to chew / rough. Only thing that was done right was the rarity of the meat at medium rare.
Was told this place had good oysters and was excited to see someone had this on a menu at the lake. We decided to try it as an appetizer.
Ordered a dozen Oysters Rockefeller, would not recommend. Definitely had better anywhere else but here. Bland in flavor with little to show for taste / quality for the price.
Best part of the meal was the beer & salad. Great beer selection on tap, but when I asked what type of Hazy IPAs they had on tap, they couldn't even tell me. They ended up handing me a paper receipt with the names of all the beer and I had to look it up myself on Untapped. Also, we did not receive our drinked until after we had received our salad, had to wait almost 10 mins for our beers.
Im embarrassed and upset as this place had high recommendations.
Would not recommend to anyone for the...

We started getting a little antsy after waiting 45 minutes for our food, without a single update from our server. When we finally mentioned that weāve been waiting for our food for a while, the server says āWell, we had 20 tables all walk in at once but yours should be out soon.ā Half of our party has worked/currently works in the service industry, so we knew that that wasnāt the truth at all. There were a few parties who walked in around the same time as us, but our party of 6 was the largest, and there was never a moment during our entire stay where there werenāt a couple open tables visible. A few minutes later, our server tells us our food will be out in 4 minutes. Kind of a strangely specific estimate, but great, because we are all starving. 15 minutes go by and we finally decide to cut our losses, pay for our drinks, and leave without our food. When we get the check from our server for our drinks, we donāt get a single apology. Just a āIāve had a long weekend too.ā Once we get up to leave, the hostess gives us a peace sign on our way out, which was clearly meant to spite us for complaining? Not once during our hour-long wait for food did a manager come up to apologize or offer to do ANYTHING to appease us. I am appalled at how unprofessional every aspect of my visit was. I am confident that I will never step foot in this restaurant again, and I will go out of my way to tell my friends not to come either. I understand that places can get busy and overwhelmed, but at least be transparent and apologetic with...
