On 1/3/24 my husband went into the Panera Bread on Northlake Blvd. with a $50.00 gift card and the cashier told him that his order went over the balance on the gift card. So without asking how much the overage was my husband gave her a $20.00 dollar bill and she gave him nothing back. So he asked for his receipt and it was for $45.19 so he said where is my change. She told him that their protocol was to put the change on the gift card. He refused to leave without his money. So the cashier went to get her supervisor whose name is Christa and she said that their protocol is to put the money back on the card but you wouldn’t see it right away, so we waited a couple of days and never showed up on the card. So when my husband came home I called the number on back of the gift card and it said the card cannot be re-loaded. The next day I called Panera Bread back and spoke to Amy who is supposed to be over both the cashier and Christa. The names that shows on the receipt shows the cashier as Chrisbeth. Well Amy says that she will look at the video and get back with me, she never called me so I tried calling her and she had left for the day. Well I called her the next day and she said she looked over the video and it showed the cashier giving him his money back, and that the card could not be re-loaded but she would look over the video again over the weekend and get back with me and again she never did. I called today and Amy said she will give us a gift card and I told her no way do I want anything to do with them again. People watch out for this location’s Panera Bread because they are playing a quick switch and bate game. We are all suffering in this inflation so with restaurants and stores going up on prices we surely don’t need cashiers stealing and robbing us of our last dollars. They should be ordered to wear voice cameras like police seeing they can’t be trusted. I rated this store a 1 but they don’t...
Read moreThis has to be the worst Panera I have ever gone to. Let’s start with today. I went to this particular location on my lunch break excited to order a “two for two”. As I wanted there for someone to come to the register another lady walks into the establishment and starts edging towards the from the looking at the menu. Tristan trista I cannot remember how to spell her name but she came to the front dried her hands and signed onto the register closest to where they complete your food order. She then proceeds to take the lady’s order doesn’t even acknowledge my existence and I began to state I was in line first. There was a look of disgust on her face as proceed to explain myself and she just ignored me. She is very unprofessional and treated me like my money meant nothing to their establishment. This is not the first time this has happened. A young lady that wears two ponytails did the same thing as well that another worker there had to take my order and a customer standing there was upset as well. The other day I order 3 bags of chips and the gentleman stated she only charged you for 2. Please understand I do not mind paying for what I asked for, but I will no longer put my hardworking money into an establishment that does not value ALL of their customers. Also I asked the same lady who happens to be a manager for corporates number and she refused she told me I can go online after the lady at the register asked her for me. She said it with such attitude you would think she was the one who was treated like she was not standing there as a...
