I have waited a while to make this review, in hopes that things would turn around. I used to absolutely love Panda Express and I am not sure what problems they are facing, but I have driven to this location 9 times. Everytime I wait in the drive through for over 20 min only to be told they have no food. Either they have some type of chicken and absolutely no rice or vice versa. I checked the online menu today before going and left my home to arrive there 15 minutes later. I was told they had absolutely no rice. I can't imagine this business staying open if this keeps up. It's truly sad.
I tell everyone it's a waste of time trying to get food from this location.
2nd review since the last time.
I have been to this location several times again and have yet again had multiple bad experiences. I quit going for quite sometime and had been driving to locations further away. My last visit two days ago was so bad I asked.for a refund....which I never do. I ordered a three entree plate which included the shrimp which they stated was going to be an upcharge. I have no problem paying extra for that and had been wanting panda for several days. I didn't check my receipt which was my own fault, however when I got home I had literally one scoop of what appeared to be sesame chicken, and one scoop of white rice. I checked my recipes which had me down for orange chicken which I didn't even order. I called back up to the store and they said to bring it up with the receipt and they would fix it. When I arrived I was met by a younger male who was completely understanding and I explained that nothing was correct and that the reciept didn't even have the correct order. He stated " yeah none of this is correct" I said yeah and there is no way this is a three entree plate, to which he agreed. Then a younger female who appeared to maybe be an assistant manager opened the box and said that there was shrink in the order and that it was a three entree plate. At this point I said that I order panda all the time and that if they are trying to put less food on paying customers plates it's a pretty sad situation. She then rolled her eyes and gave me this look like I was out of line. I instantly became enraged and keeping my cool said I just want a refund for the food. A manager then came in the picture and asked me what happened and I explained it yet again and said I wanted a refund. Never once did anyone acknowledge the problem or even try a f fix the issue.
I am positive that if you eat food from this location you absolutely will not get the full amount of food you pay for and more than likely it will be wrong. This has happened to my wife several times between my visits, and I have asked her several times why she even goes back to this garbage location.
I was angry enough to get on here once again and leave a review. I hope this helps others to not waste there time or at least be prepared for them to completely "F" everything up and then act like you are the one...
Read moreThis is only a reflection of the Lake St. Louis Panda Express. The food is fine, knockoff Chinese packed full of MSG. I love me some MSG, I’d bath in that Orange Chicken. The staff on the other hand is unhelpful and unfriendly. The woman on the speaker was extremely rude, which was the icing on the cake after waiting over 30min in line. She said they only had enough food to make bowls and wouldn’t make more because they closed at 8pm(it was 8:30pm by the time I got to the speaker and the website said they closed at 9:30pm).I had a family of 4 to feed, so a bowl wasn’t going to work. If they were this low on food and closed 30min ago, why didn’t they turn out the lights, put a sign up warning people or simply turn off the speaker and stop taking orders? Behind me the line was longer than when I pulled up. No one ever came out to inform those in the line of the food shortage or that they closed early. They still had a line after I passed 10 minutes later. First off, if you are closing early or out of food, go out and inform people before they waste 30min in line. Secondly, if it does happen, at least be nice about it. If they had just said I’m sorry for the wait or I’m so sorry, but we are out of food, I wouldn’t even be posting a review. The woman was rude and completely...
Read moreMy family used to LOVE Panda Express prior to covid. Now we have gotten to the point where we will not go back any longer. At least to the Lake St. Louis one.
Number One reason??? Horrible service!! The people that work there have no idea how to service others. The can be beyond ignorant and extremely rude. My wife has a long history working in the food industry and knows what brings people back beyond the food. Those that currently work at Panda should not be in this industry. At least not working directly with people. They may be fine behind the scenes (cooking for instance). Management...hire people with strong people skills. This will help greatly with the bottom line.
Number Two??? Portions and freshness. The portions are WAY down from how they were. So disappointing to open you tray and find such pitiful amounts in there. Freshness...Just not the same.
So...moving on to someplace similar or give another PE a chance. Maybe the management difference will be evident and we will go...
