I've been to New Orleans and not sure how this place can believe that they offer anything similar to a New Orleans experience. Rude counter associates who seemed offended when I asked for a food menu. I was told to just look in the case and I'd see what they offer. Great, but nothing is priced. I ended up ordering a "Club" sandwich and an "Iced" tea. The sandwich was thrown into their high powered microwave and served hot with, turkey, ham, and cheese. I've never had a hot "Club" sandwich. The iced tea was nothing but ice. Maybe about 6 oz. of tea. I'll be sure to avoid this same experience and seek out a truly local coffee house.

This place is so cute I’m not a coffee drinker at all I came in to get my friend one for her birthday and felt so comfortable from the moment I walked in I got lucky they were not busy but the blonde girl that was working was so patient and helpful with making sure I got the right coffee I got the red bull dragon fruit drink which was amazing and so was the cake balls! Might have to come back to try the mango redbull drink and have my fiancé come try it too!

We're from New Orleans and love PJ'S Coffee. This location in Lake St. Louis did not disappoint! My favorite thing about PJ's is the Granita, I get it with vanilla. If you haven't had a Granita before, you don't know what you're missing. I liken it to a frozen cold brew coffee daiquiri, without the alcohol. Please support this coffee shop!

Where do you begin!! First this I absolutely love that there is a local place other than SBs !! However that is where my enthusiasm unfortunately, ends!! I am trying so hard to repetively give this location a chance ( all while spending money) to get orders, service and food correctly! Uggg it is so frustrating when members of your family have liked the breakfast sandwiches the few times it has been great & correct, service not so much. This today is about my 20th time I believe and as per the norm at this location (LSL) you order they are out, get to window they are out of what you just ordered. Then as I am speaking with the girl she suggests what they they may have, was not what the family would like....then she says well we have all the ingredients in the back maybe I can make you one. I replied oh so you make them on site, yes she replied I said great can I purchase 2, yes she replies. About 5 min later she hands me one, I replied did you have enough for 2...oh you wanted 2....yes please. Then another 5 min and I have 2!! I get home and the bagels are overheated hard and 1 of each sides are burnt. The egg and sausage were good but not the bagel couldn't tear or even cut with a steak knife or chew. I must say COME ON GUYS you have a captive audience on the Dierbergs parking lot, soo many Dardenne, LSL and other area residents that could be flocking to your business. Owning a business myself and being a supervisor, training from your store manager and owner involvement with these repetitive chronic issues can be fixed!! I truly hope that these basic and really fixable issues are addressed!! As I/we would love to return!! Many Thanks for reading my reviews!! Have a...

For some reason, there are now 3 coffee places within 1/2 mile of each other. For the longest time, it was just the Seattle one that ruled the roost without competition. Then came PJ's and then another number-based coffee shop. PJ's is undoubtably the best of the three. There is no competition if you are someone that wants phenomenal coffee at a fair price compared to the other two.

The mocha granita is as addictive as crack...or so I have heard. scratches all over It's my go-to 2 or 3 times a week. Get it. It'll change your life. They also have a serviceable, little, food menu. Their breakfast sandwiches like the bacon, egg, and cheese on a biscuit are all far better than stopping by McDonald's. The beignets with chocolate sauce? Criminally scrumptious. Even their croissants are fantastic (especially when ordered warm).

I highly suggest downloading their app and creating an account. Compared to a lot of food apps, (I'm looking at you 54th Street) PJ's app is fast, simple, and makes it easy to order before you head over to pick it up. It even supports Apple Pay--thank you, PJ's!!

Every order I've done via the app has always been ready when I arrived. The hot items were always hot, and the cold items were cold. Staff have always been nice and on top of things. It has never been a painful experience with PJ's (unlike at the nearby Popeye's).

TL;DR: PJ's is awesome any time of day. I need LSL location to stay open now that I am addicted to...

Rumor has it they have a wide variety of both hot and cold coffees, as well pastries and some sandwiches.

This will continue to be a mystery to me given that no one took my order.

There were only 2 vehicles in line ahead when we arrived, and no one came on the drive thru speaker to say they'd be with us. We waited a few minutes and decided we'd simply drive .3 miles to the Starbucks right up the street.

When we left we saw an employee hanging out the window having what could only be a conversation revolving around how to bring an end to nuclear weapons across the globe, because they certainly were not helping the growing line that had developed.

I noticed at least one other review that indicated they had also left the line multiple times due to no service. I patiently await the canned response from ownership asking how they can do better next time.

1/3/24 Update: Went back to PJ's, don't think that one negative experience should completely determine my view on an establishment.

Went this morning, and they took my order. Even that was more complicated than it should have been. Ordered a medium and large of the same drink, the employee taking the order was screaming into the microphone, and struggled to put my order due to speaking over me when I attempted to clarify.

The coffee is OK - nothing to to jump up and down about, but in 2 trips, customer service is pretty rough.

Updating to 2 stars to reflect the coffee, wouldn't recommend...
