These new ladies are rude. I always come here every Sunday before I go wash to get tamales. Today I found one bug on the leaf of the green tamales I said ok just one bug on the leaf. As I'm eating a red tamale I see another same bug. My stomach twirled and I couldn't eat them no more so I went and asked for my money back. The rude lady blamed me and said that didn't come from rebe restaurant and why would I lie when I come here almost every Sunday. The lady is very sloppy and I will no longer be eating here I will drive all the way to where the old employees now work at on Pulaski and 70 something in the icecream shop. Its far but tamales are tastier made by the old crew and served with love. I still have to wait 2 days to see if the lady really refunds me my money. Stay tuned. I have pictures but doesn't let...
Read moreI love the tamales here, my son and I came here almost every Saturday but we took a break and when we came back again I was super sad to hear that LUZ no longer works there…she was always sooo good to us and made us feel like valued customers. My son and I ate here every saturday morning but the green tamales are now way too spicy for a few months now I went two times since the change and I always get sick from eating these 👎🏽 I asked the lady if they could convince the owner to change the recipe back and she laughed it off. The owner is a nice guy hopefully he reads this and works on less spicy for us with...

Some other places - the tamales are big, but then theyre dry and have no meat or chile. At others, they’re juicy but have no meat. Then there are the ones that are pretty good, but they’re so expensive. It’s hard to find consistency. I would only ever recommend weekends for Tamales, but if you fancy one throughout the week, I would recommend the early afternoon for freshness.
Thank you for an...
