On 9/9/2018 I returned 2 the restaurant again to buy 3 slices of pizza, between 7:20pm-7:35pm. Out of the blue, this same new manager started to disrespect me again. By saying: you don't deserve to choose your slices here, after I paid for them already. he also threaten me by saying: your lucky I don't welcome you here, then he said: it's payback. Which I didn't understand, until he brought up the 7/24/18 incident. I felt disrespected again & offended. So I began to ask employees for his boss and lo & behold an employee told me when his boss will be there. I was happy, and I hope to God' we can have a good discussion on this rude employee of his.
On 7/24/18 I had purchased $14 worth of food there, the only thing that was inappropriate and bad was bad management. He disrespected me by not taking care of my order properly. I told him that the 2 cans of pop I purchased were expired. So he decided to exchange my cans for another brand. I told him ok, and do you mind if I open one new can to see if it's good? He said: yes, but you won't get another set of two. I said ok.
so I opened it and zipped a little bit, and lo and behold, the pop tasted old(RC had light gas, bland, and thick black colouration. I even tried the crush and that too was off). The liquid was thick, and the taste was off. I even looked for the date on all cans, old and the replaced ones, they gave me. One of them said 8/16, and another said ?/17, and the other 2 had NO expiration dates. I literally showed him the cans and the soda liquid.
The answer I got back was totally disrespectful, he said: you just don't like the drink, and your taste buds are off. I said excuse me sir, I just showed you the soda inside of the cup and dates of some cans. 'Why would I lie to you? if I'm a regular customer here, and why in the world are you speaking out loud to me, like as if I'm a problem here.
I noticed there was customers there, and he wanted everyone to think that I was a problem here.
So what I did because I was upset & didn't want to argue with him: I threw all the cans of pop he gave me away, in the garbage, as I walked out of the restaurant, and I shook my head towards him, like saying: your unbelievable. because you know they were expired.
He looked at me with a really bad face, as I exited quietly. But I had to say again to him, why would I Lie to you. I just purchased about $14 worth of your food, and showed you everything.
It seems like this new manager doesn't care about selling expired canned pop to there customers, neither does he care if someone gets sick. It seems like he only cares about making that extra dollar on expired canned pop.
This manager is NOT the owner. Its someone that the owner hired. He does makes pizza's there. All I know is that he deals with customer complaints and offers dissatisfaction to customers, like he did to me... I truly feel sorry for the owner and...
Read moreMy group had decided to dine in, was told the pizza would take half hour so we added mozzarella sticks as an appetizer by the cashier with glasses. We made the observation that She was trying her best to be on top of everything as we were the beginning of a rush. We see pizzas, plates, & napkins being delivered to tables by the blonde cashier. Eventually we see a pizza placed in between both of the cashiers by the blonde, with no announcement made we assumed it wasn’t ours. After MORE waiting, passing the 40 minute mark & with a closer observation we realize it was our pizza. We didn’t understand why our pizza wasn’t served to us nor at least announced. We were also confused as to why we received our pizza BEFORE the mozzarella sticks, which proceeded to take another 20 minutes. With no more desire to dine in we asked for a box, & that was when we asked about the status of our mozzarella sticks. The cashier with glasses was attentive & almost looked stressed that she had to pick up the slack. As we continued to wait the next 20 minutes we see other orders AGAIN being delivered to tables by the blonde. Reaching our breaking point one of our group goes up to ask about them & is then handed a bag we had seen be set down by the blonde yet again for the past 10 minutes without any announcement. We love pizza nova & the food but we were extremely disappointed with the inconsistency in service & beyond that felt very uncomfortable as to why the blonde was only doing that with our food. Read moreFood is usually pretty good, don’t really have a complaint there. My complaint lies within the service. They’re nice but usually get my order wrong. It’s usually a missing side or a missing topping. They’ll repeat the order and it’s usually right but when it gets delivered or when I pick it up something is always missing. It’s not a super big deal considering the sides and extra toppings are relatively cheap but it sucks when your order isn’t what you expect it to be. Management doesn’t seem to care either, after looking at several reviews, all management responds is “hope you try us again” without actually trying to rectify the issue… I should also mention I called to tell them about the mistake and was put on hold for more than five minutes, after that I hung up because I’m not about to wait while my pizza gets cold for a few wrong items just for them to probably tell me “oh, sorry hope you try us again” Don’t believe me? Look through all the bad reviews (there are so many of them and they’re all related to bad management/wrong orders) it’s literally a copy and paste comment from the owner or manager. It’s extremely lazy work. This place could be getting 4.5 plus starts as an overall rating if the owners just took into consideration firing certain staff (especially the manager considering mostly all bad reviews point to their attitude and unprofessionalism) and training new staff on proper customer service techniques, but instead they settle for 3.7 stars…...
