Brou'ne Desserts — Restaurant in Lake View Township

Took a trip to Chicago early this summer and went to the Division street farmers market on day two. To my complete and utter surprise the second table I hit was none other than Broune. Immediately drawn in by the crazy amazing looking biscoff blondies and some awe inducing marshmallow peanut butter cookies I dropped thirty bucks on some sweet treats and never looked back. Completely wowed by the insane perfection that was the blondie (crispy yet gooey and oh so very perfect tasting) I hopped online and found the website. Much to my luck I found that the store itself was next to wrigley field where I was going to next day for a game. I planned a detour and made the trip over and ate SO MANY BROWNIES. Each treat a delight you can’t go wrong with every perfect item on their menu. Adorably named, every brownie, blondie, and cookie is made with love and is well worth the money. Independently owned by a woman of color, I am pleased and delighted to support this wonderful bakery! It’s only been a month and I already have completed my first online order, getting a dozen of those aforementioned biscoff blondes. I told the owner I needed them fast so I could indulge on my cheat weekend and she went out of her way to ensure they arrived faster than I could have even imagined. Truely remarkable customer service at its finest. They are just as good shipped as they are in the store. Somehow it maintained the exact gooeyness I fell in love with back in early July. Can’t wait to order more in the future and enjoy my dozen slowly over the next few months (if I don’t accidentally eat them all...

I've ordered from this restaurant before. They used to have wonderful brownies. They served brownies that look exactly like they did in in the photo. What I got tonight does not look like a blonde Bee Bebe! This is definitely not the brownie that was in the picture. They just threw a cookie on top of a blonde brownie. They took very little care with my order, and this is not the same brownie I used to get when I first started ordering here about 2 years ago! The brownies were twice the size of not larger, and it looks exactly like they did on the picture. This isn't something I can share with my husband. What I really want is a refund! I'm extremely disappointed. They have fallen, off I do...

Brou'ne is awesome! They have been making customized desserts for our family for over a year!

I needed vegan and nut free cupcakes made for my son's birthday celebration at his daycare. They turned out so cute, and the best part was the taste. The toddlers of course loved them, but the teachers raved how amazing they were and that you couldn't even tell they were vegan.

I also had Brou'ne make my son's family birthday cake and OMG! It was a snickers chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting! Everyone loved it!!! The cake was also customized to match our Lion King ...
