Extremely disappointed and food allergy beware!!!! I don’t like being negative but this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant in a while. We were seated and then asked to move because they put us at the wrong table after we had been sitting and settled down(we also had a reservation). Us - a party of 5 (for a party of 6) to a table so small that we had to push together a different and lower table together. They easily could have sat the other party here.
The food was decent. However I ordered the enchiladas and it came with a side of beans even though it had no mention of it on the menu. I have a strong allergy to this and they had to take my plate back. Definitely beware.
Some more issues of what is on the menu. Short rib did not come with mashed potatoes as advertised and the waitress made no mention of it when we ordered. Some other items on the menu aren’t available so beware if there’s only one thing you’d want or have a craving for. The gelato isn’t actually gelato, it’s much more like shaved iced. Still that was good though.
I definitely will never be back unfortunately. Parking is a nightmare but that is out of...

I’m a native Chicagoan—This place is a place that you feel like family.
First off, let’s talk customer service:
This place was supposed to close at 10. Me and my girlfriend are looking for a late night dine and they agreed to accept a seating at 10 with ZERO rush in our dining.
Second, let’s talk quality:
Drinks: Justin is typically the bartender at this joint. Hear me out when I say that this is a mixologist that deserves HIGH quality status. The classic margarita with tajin glass was amazing—not to mention how a margarita is supposed to be (can taste tequila, not drowned in sweetness, and appreciate the drink)!
Food: I had tacos only so I am limited on speaking to the full menu, but carne asada tacos were street style and it’s simplicity/flavor delivered. Maraja served us with that hometown—hey I know you and welcome you—kind of service. You don’t get that nowadays
To be honest I’m not a guy that does not do the whole review thing, but as a public service announcement to all my Chi-city folks—give this place a try.
Or to put it more...

The main problem we had with our dinner was that there is a 12 foot tall neon street sign in the dining area, which constantly flashes on and off with enough brightness to light up the entire room and then plunge it back into darkness on a five second interval. When I asked if this was something that could be stopped, the server simply said "yea unfortunately, they can't seem to get it to stop doing that cause of some wiring problems,"
Maybe it's just my perspective after living in Southern California for so long, but I also just cannot understand how three street tacos by themselves can be $16. We could only laugh when the $10 churros con chocolate came out, and the plate had two three-inch long churros on it
I will say again, the food all tasted great, i just cant see...
