Came here to try since we always see so many people come in. The 2 taco with rice and bean special is definitely a deal if you order Lengua (tongue) since a single lengua taco is $5.25. But the rice and beans were HORRIBLE. Rice was dry and basically "crispy" due to being so old. The beans has a sour taste to it so it was also probably spoiled from being out too long (warming in the container). The carne asada taco was decent but a little too salty for my liking. The lengua taco was pretty good. The steamed beef taco was also a bit too salty. The al pastor was decent, it is marinated well and has bits of pineapple in it. We also ordered the Horchata, definitely not the best tasting one, it was very bland and has a bad after taste.

Overall, If you are craving tacos, I would recommend Lindo Guadalajara or Taqueria Uptown...

This place does not deliver, despite what they tell you. I have walked by so many times and wanted to try it, so I called in an order tonight. I repeated our phone number THREE TIMES for the gentleman on the phone. He never gave a subtotal or an estimated delivery time. But I just figured they were busy. An hour later, I called to check on our order and was told that the delivery man called, but we didn't answer. The thing is, we had no missed calls and no one ever buzzed our buzzer. Since we live close, I asked if the delivery man could just come back on his next run. I gave the man on the phone our number and address again. And instead he began ARGUING with me saying that because it was 8:30 and they close at 10 they weren't taking any more orders! WHAT??? I guess I WON'T be trying this...

I placed a big order for 17 tacos for three different meats. I only received 14 tacos and what i did get wasn't right. I called to see if they can correct the order and the guy on the phone "Francisco" said he couldnt be wrong AND HUNG UP ON ME!. I called back to talk to a manager and he tried to act like a manager, "like his broken english was easy to disguise". All in all, i will never order from here again, considering i placed a $55+ order he couldnt even attempt to change my tacos. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE, the guy was rude, inconsiderate about their mistake and i ended paying for three tacos...

Went to Carmela's Taqueria with a relative who swore up and down that many years ago when they lived in the neighborhood, Carmel has had the best al pastor tacos ever. I had high expectations phenibut oh, the tacos did not live up to them.  The tacos were good, but nothing spectacular. Even my relative who used to go here, was disappointed. The restaurant is very small with only three tables and limited  seating at the counter. With close proximity to the Aragon theater,  I am told that after concerts,  the line for food can stretch all the way around the block.
