Password can be found by either asking staff or somewhere near the counter (I forgot to look since I just asked when they brough my latte to me haha)

| Things to Consider | 💲Price: average prices are high but typical of the Lakeview area, with a holiday special hot 12oz latte coming out to $7.35 w/o tax 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Downtown Hustle: could get pretty packed and loud at times but some good noise-cancelling headphones/earbuds should do the trick

What a gem in the neighborhood! Owned by a husband and wife who were both at the counter helping customers (so important for a small business) and everyone else working there are happy and kind. Ordered a donut for my daughter and coffee for myself. We sat down and instead of waiting for my named to be yelled, someone brought my latte over to our table with a smile. Can’t believe we haven’t been here before but we will be back and shop local!

Lastly, we had originally stopped into a coffee shop down Lincoln (the one with bikes) and I was so disappointed. Never even got a chance to order since there were only 2 employees to run the place (making drinks, taking orders etc). No one acknowledged the 8 people waiting in line so I thought “maybe it’s online ordering only?” Finally after about 4mins, one person got to order then the employee went back to making drinks so we just left. I get that staffing is hard right now and it was their busy rush at 11:00 on a Saturday but at least look up and greet...

We've only been in the area a year and a half but Doppio quickly became our local spot! Thought it was about time to post a review. The highlight here is that all of the staff and owners we ever been greeted by have been super warm and welcoming. We generally get takeout (or sit outside when it's nice), but they have a cozy space indoors too. The overnight oats are handy (there's a vegan one too), and they have a nice selection of donuts, kolaches, croissants in the morning. I've never ordered the fancy toasts, but they look delicious leaving the kitchen so I probably should. And I'm not a connoisseur and everyone has their preferences, but we found the coffee here (espresso or drip) is more mellow than some coffee spots which is what keeps us coming back. They are very accommodating (decaf, soy, oat, fewer syrup pumps, etc), order online is available and easy, and they have a rewards program which has paid off for us a few times now!
