Halal Smash Burger and Phillies (Devon California) — Restaurant in Lake View Township

1st time here. Ordered a couple Humpty Smash Burgers, an order of loaded fries, some Buffalo wings and a couple strawberry shakes.

Review time! OK, 1st all the pics look great. Ordered to go (only 5 min away so food was still fresh and hot). Upon opening the burger, it looked just like the Pic if not better. Taste was DELICIOUS! I was very pleasantly surprised. Everything was stacked perfectly to get all the flavors together with every bite. The egg was cooked perfectly and the pickle slices, let me just say I'm normally not a fan of a pickle once I spot it on my food (those limp warm pickles slices) NOPE, these cool THICK kosher pickles make the burger! Perfection! The loaded fries not even sure all that was involved in this concoction, but they did not disappoint! Meats, cheeses, sauces all over the fries again another dish perfectly done! OK, let's see, next the Buffalo bone in wings. Nice amount of sauce and if you want to drown your wing, there was plenty of sauce on the bottom of the container to do so. The wings had a nice little crunch, held together well but easily and effortlessly came off the bone nicely when eating. Juicy tender perfectly cooked wings! Lastly, the Strawberry shakes. Man oh man, thick fresh tasting shake with whipped cream!

I have passed this place so many times and never stopped. I am so happy I did and it was late night and everything was spot on so I don't know why some other bad reviews (maybe old and stuff they no longer serve) but the price is fair and the food is really great and flavourful! I ordered online thru Google which took me to "slice. I ordered a steak salad -w/chicken and I wanted ranch dressing, ceasar, & vinaigrette. I got chili cheese fries. An order of mozzarella sticks. & I ordered a boss burger and I added mozzarella sticks, an egg and gyro meat to the burger. When I arrived it was empty and there was a young guy and an older one by the grill they turned around when I came in. I walked up to the counter and they just kept their backs turned to me. After a min or two of waiting there. They turn back again and the younger guy looks almost annoyed I'm there and the older one walks to the counter he tries to smile and finally ask me what I needed. I said I had a pick up order. I showed him the order. He went to grab it. And to my surprise.. The burger did not have the bacon it's supposed to come with. And they gave me BBQ sauce for my mozzarella sticks and not marinara sauce ... I also had to ask for the receipt.. He didn't even ask if I wanted it. When I saw the receipt it said it was powered by "toast" not slice where I ordered it from which wasn't that weird to me but it showed cheaper prices than what I paid. So maybe it shows the price before all the add ons I put ..so not reflecting the extra money I paid for things like the egg, gyro meat, or even the dollar per dressing on my salad when they gave me 3 of the same type when I requested 3 different ones. Also I tipped them when I ordered because I was happy to finally try out burger boy lounge but the receipt he gave me didn't show that... The worst experience of my life. The Uber eats app told me my food was ready and when I got there to pick it up, they hadn’t even started making it. They told me 5 minutes which turned into 10. I finally got my food and when I checked to make sure it was the right order, it wasn’t. I had ordered a fried chicken sandwich with fries and I got a grilled spicy chicken sandwich. When I told them this is not what I ordered, they said what Uber eats app is calling fried chicken sandwich is showing up as spicy grilled on their computer. I said that’s not my problem, I didn’t order a grilled sandwich. They said they would correct my order and make me a crispy chicken sandwich which is what the correct name was. I came back 10 minutes later to pick it up not expecting there to be anymore issues. I get home and they gave me curly fries with cheese instead of the regular fries I ordered.
