Chicago’s Best Naan claim is pretty accurate! It’s a small operation and bread is made throughout the day in small batches vs. huge commercialized quantities.
We met Zaki who was so friendly and helped us select the breads. They have a nice variety from Persian, Afghan and Kabuli. They had sesame and sweetened naan too. Zaki offered free samples so you could taste the differences.
Aside from using with regional dishes, these are great to use for sandwiches/subs or cut up to make great toast for breakfast. The breads are nice and fluffy and the Kabuli version is most similar to a pita bread. All are made daily and are delicious!
