I have heard about this restaurant through friends and as a Muslim I was excited to one day try it. One day after a long day of work I decided to taste their Halal Burgers. I had the gladiator and in just terms of the burger I rate it 5 out of 5, but there are other factors to my overall rating. 1.The place was absolutely filthy and dirty, the floor was sticky and flies were everywhere. It is not a place where you can go to sit down to eat and enjoy. There are also only two tables in a very small space. 1 out of 5 stars for cleanliness, but to be honest I'm not surprised because most restaurants around this area are like that. I tried to call the restaurant for a pickup order so I would not have to wait inside the dirty restaurant, but no one answered the phone. I called three times, so if you want to get a burger unfortunately you are going to most likely going to have to go inside and wait, unless you are a lucky caller. You would think that most likely most of their orders are pickup since they only have two tables in the restaurant, but for some reason that is not the case. I recommend getting it through ubereats, or amazon's new restaurant delivery system. 3.Customer Service inside the restaurant is decent, the man that helped me out was a good honest guy. If the owner is reading this review do not take this personally, but please clean the restaurant, and answer phone calls because that is probably where most of your capital is going to come from unless you create more room for more tables. I want this place to succeed because this restaurant does have great tasting burgers and I wanna keep coming here, but that is not going to happen if this place keeps their cleanliness...

I had a long day and decided to order from Halal Burger — it’s a spot I usually go to for late-night food, and I’ve never had an issue before. But this time was different, and honestly, it really upset me.
I placed a pickup order through the Uber Eats app, walked a few blocks to get it, and when I got there, the person at the counter told me the order was already picked up — by a delivery person. I explained that I was the one who placed the pickup order, not for delivery, but they just brushed me off and told me to contact Uber.
What frustrates me the most is that there was no effort to double-check or verify anything. No one asked for a name, looked at the order list, or tried to help me figure it out. My food was just handed off to someone else without confirming who it was for. And when I explained the issue, there was no apology, no attempt to fix it, no replacement — just “talk to Uber.”
As a paying customer who walked there expecting to take my food home, I left empty-handed and annoyed. I had to wait almost an hour for Uber support and only got my refund after about a week. That’s not right, especially when the mistake clearly wasn’t mine.
I’m not here to be harsh, but if you’re going to be on delivery platforms, there has to be some kind of system to confirm orders properly. If not, it causes situations like this, and customers like me lose trust.
Please, train your staff to verify pickup vs delivery and check names before handing out food. This could’ve been avoided with just a quick confirmation. I’m genuinely disappointed and hope things improve, because I do like this place — but I won’t be ordering again unless I...
Read moreMan, this one is disappointing. I’ve ordered from this place many times in the past through delivery apps and for the most part I’ve never had a bad experience, as the food is pretty good. However, for the first time today, I attempted to place an order over the phone and got a taste first hand of the abysmal customer service.
First off I will say, I get that working in customer service sucks but like, come on. From the get-go, the guy on the phone was rude, extremely short with me for no reason, and when I asked a question about their wings, he began rushing me off the phone and literally told me to hurry up with my order (I wasn’t even on the phone a full minute). The attitude was so disrespectful that I just cancelled my order and when I did, the guy said “Yea you do that” and hung up. Can’t make this stuff up. Absolutely embarrassing for yall (but not gonna lie he did gag me with that 😭).
I’m all about supporting local businesses, but a successful business begins and ends with the experience, and the basics of customer service is part of that, especially at a restaurant. If you can’t handle the task of taking an order over the phone, then maybe working at a restaurant isn’t for you.
Can’t blame the entire restaurant as I’m sure not every worker there is that stiff, but if this is a representation of what a proper experience is supposed to be here, then I’m good on this place. Like….is management in the...
