Beginning with the physical location, Hyderabad kitchen is top tier when it comes to the seating, comfort, and cleanliness of the restaurant. I personally rank it amongst the best on Devon in this category. Ambiance is one of the most important aspects of a restaurant and this checks all the boxes.
When it comes to the food, the dishes I have tried have all been some of the most flavorful and high quality foods from Devon. The Biryani, the most popular dish, is so flavorful and fulled with meat that just melts in your mouth, which is a lovely surprise because most places use cheap quality rice and meat and usually don't give as much meat. Both the mutton and beef fry dishes are also some of my favorites and come with in large portions as well. I had the pleasure of also trying the butter chicken recently which was packed with flavor and was one of my favorite meals as it reminded me of the butter chicken from my favorite childhood restaurant. The naan ranks as the number one naan on Devon as the restaurant has its own tandoor and is always so fresh and has the perfect texture. I also really enjoy the desserts, with the Gaajar ka Halwa and kheer being some of favorite desserts of all time. The chai here is also the top two chais in the Chicagoland area and honestly some days, when they have their in house malai cooking, easily the best.
This restaurant takes the crown for being the best overall restaurant on Devon and I am excited to see the growth and future of this establishment. I will most definitely be catering all my family events from here and wish the owner all the best and thank him for such an amazing all around...

Read moreTucked away from the main street in Devon is this humble place for some fantastic North Indian cuisine. Great authentic taste !!Had both the tandoori chicken and the chicken along with garlic naan and plain parathas and everything was delicious - Everything served hot and fresh. The tandoori chicken is made after ordering so will take approx 30 mins to be served but it’s worth the wait. The only thing that stuck out as an anomaly is the chicken looks more reddish than regular meat. It could be likely due to the red chilly spice used or maybe a little bit of food coloring ( not sure ).
This not a fine dine but a regular walk in restaurant with limited seating so pls set expectations accordingly. If you are a lover of Indian cuisine, highly recommend...
