Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams — Restaurant in Lake View Township

Like other Jeni's, this location serves up freshly-made ice cream with creative flavors. Unlike others, this location has lots of space for crowds at Wrigley Field. That said, I've never seen long lines here compared to their other stores, which makes this a good choice when looking for a quick stop. Being beside Small Cheval, I expect business to pick up a bit. Service has always been friendly, even at the busiest of times. My only issue is that they really don't seem to cater to young kids' palates, as there aren't really any "plain" flavors -- for instance, my daughter really just wanted vanilla but all they had was a honey French vanilla. Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams is exactly what the name says it is, splendid ice creams!! The wife and I were attending a game at Wrigley Field and looking for a little post-game treat when we stumbled upon Jeni's little slice of heaven on Clark Street and we haven't looked at ice cream the same way since then. They have so many options for those that follow a gluten-free diet and have plenty of dairy-free options as well so leave your dietary restrictions at home and come let Jeni show you a better way to treat yourself! I always loved Jeni’s from the minute I tried their ice cream. Jeni’s ice cream never disappoints. I got 2 scoops of the cream puff & honey vanilla. Both are great together. I love the Wrigleyville location as it’s bigger than the other locations I’ve been too. There is a bench seating area which I’ve never seen before in the other Jeni’s locations. If you haven’t tried Jeni’s, you are missing out. Plus make sure to try out this locations, as it’s literally a walking distance to Wrigley Field. Hope this helps.
