They tend to change the prices based on who is running the register that day. I come here all the time and today I was charged a fee for using my bank card. They never did that yesterday or other days prior. I always buy the same thing and I always use my card. And I once bought some candy and the woman at the register didn’t know the price, she asked someone and he said a price that was twice as much as it was the day before. I was trying to buy from their cafe and I ordered something a woman ahead of me ordered. But the woman behind the counter was all, “we don’t have that”. Omar is the coolest guy! He works there and the ladies who work in making the food are also so sweet. From the first day I walked in I was genuinely greeted. You can tell the people enjoy being in the area and not annoyed or bothered like you see at other corner stores. I love getting the tortas there and the sorbet mango. Awesome new spot for the neighborhood. Well-stocked and diverse selection, clean and easy to navigate. Homemade ice cream was great, popsicles too. Took home a turkey sandwich which was delicious. The staff was very kind and welcoming. This place has everything; truly a New York style...
