I AM DISGUSTED… i ordered for the first time through Uber eats . i cannot express how disappointed i was with this food . the worst item i received is between the orange chicken and the fried rice . the fried rice is so stale, doesn’t taste fresh at all & there is little burnt pieces all in the rice. the orange chicken is like a sweet sticky sauce & the chicken is soggy on the outside but over cooked on the inside. the white rice is definitely stale and probably one of the worst steamed rices in chicago. the best thing i received was the sweet and sour chicken . the sauce was the only thing i could tolerate. the chicken itself was so hard , I couldn’t even stick my fork through the chicken without a lot of effort . i wasted 32$ here. i should’ve known from all the other reviews but i chose to overlook it and try it for myself . if you love your money, don’t waste it here on these items. i wish i could return...
Read moreOrdered from here last year (2020) and had one of the WORST experiences I've ever had ordering carry out. Ordered pick up online via GrubHub (should've called in our order and this probably would have never happened) and was given an ETA of 15 - 25 mins. So this place accepts orders from all the major food delivery services (Grubhub, Doordash, Uber Eats, Postmates, etc.), so all of these services provide quick ETAs even though this restaurant has maybe one cook working. 2 hours and 20 minutes later we finally get our food (and the food wasn't good). They were handing out one order every 10 minutes, what a fricking joke. Do yourself a favor and order from the place down the street because this...
Read moreLate one Friday night I decided I wasn't in the mood to cook and that what I really wanted was some good old fashioned Chinese takeout. I'm new to the area so hopped on DoorDash, scanned through some options and eventually chose Plenty Chinese. Oh man, I'm glad I did. Just a matter of 30ish minutes later, I had a really fantastic feast in front of me. And it was piping hot. Like, I don't even know how it could conceivably still be that hot with the delivery time, but it was and it was amazing. This is your standard Americanized Chinese food, so if you're looking for super authentic, probably look elsewhere. But if you want delicious, hot, fresh tasting food, try Plenty. I'm absolutely...
