The Fieldhouse LP — Restaurant in Lake View Township

Since the reopening I've been going here pretty regularly. Always fun. Great staff. I tried to go in this weekend and the door guy denied me entry saying last time I was there I did a bunch of inappropriate things and closed the door in my face. Fact is, last time I was there I was sober and the bartender was more than accommodating. The time before that I did drink but walked out normally. I think it was a case of mistake identity but I am still embarrassed and annoyed. I know better than to raise a stink about not getting into a bar but I hate that I was treated this way clearly based on basic attributes. In the future the door people should learn how to properly identify and ask questions vs just closing the door before making wrongful judgements. I've lived in this neighborhood for 6 years. I always walk by this place and it always catches my eye. Finally went here with a bunch of friends after zoo lights. It was a cool little Cleveland Browns bar! They had $3 rolling rocks which I loved! I loved the Christmas lights they had up for the holidays. I was digging that they had golden tee and a Juke box in the back. It was definitely a cool atmosphere! Feels like a small town bar only it is in the big city. The music was good and at a good volume so you could still talk still. Field House, ah we meet again. I've frequented this place on many occassions to watch my beloved Blackhawks destroy whoever they place against. Beers and all drinks are at a great price, and it's great to see the same bartenders every time. This place has a great atmosphere, and is probably one of the best spots to go and chill on nights you just want to enjoy some cheap beer and classic dive bar music with sportscenter in the background.
