| TLDR | Toasted Marshmallow latte (latte + specialty syrup) is one of the tastiest lattes I've EVER tasted, home-y vibes, and wall outlets to caffeinate your WFH or hangout time. Now here's the inside scoop:
| Pros | āCoffee: got lots of options to choose from (from run-of-the-mill to specialty), so you can't really go wrong š²Price: I was actually very suprised by this but a specialty 12oz hot latte coming out to a measly $5.00 (+ tax & 3.5% credit card processing surcharge) š°Water & Home-y mugs: you can request water and they'll give it to you in a cup that looks like it just came straight out of a home cabinet (super dope). Mugs are also the same way!
Note: reason for surcharge is to keep overal prices low.
| Things to Consider | š¶Time limit but great speeds: at peak hours (around noon), speeds clocked in at about 54.7 Mbps on their 5Ghz network. Temporary passwords are generated after purchase and given on a receipt sheet to enter into the wifi portal on your device. 3 hour limit btw
IMO, one of the best (and I don't say this lightly) to get some work done or meet with a friend. If you ever wondered which corner Ravenswood coffeeshop serves an (almost) perfect cup of coffee, check out The...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNice location, good menu, service was questionable. The barista was coughing up a lung openly, both while making drinks and while walking around the room. I had a cappuccino which was pretty tasty and a yogurt parfait that was pre-made and contained vanilla yogurt and hardly any granola. It was tasty but I wanted something with less artificial flavoring. Iāll go back for another try but the coughing barista really bothered me.
Update: Iāve been back here pretty often. The service has been pretty great ever since and Iāve tried a few more menu items. The food is just not hitting the mark. Today I had grilled cheese with tomato and it was flat and bland with generic white bread. The breakfast wraps are tasty but seem very pre-manufactured, and come on a flour wrap which is just old fashioned. However, this is my favorite cappuccino on the Damen Ave. strip, so Iāll easily keep coming back here...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreReally enjoyable, pleasant place to sit and do some work on your computer, or whatever. Even if you just want to sit outside and people watch with a cup of coffee. From what I could tell this is a favorited neighborhood spot, but attracts all sorts of people from all over. The people working were very kind, super happy, and pleasant. I noticed that they were thorough with everyone's questions and attentive to cleanliness, organization, and efficiency. I felt very comfortable here, and would not hesitate to come back. Street parking is available, and the day I went there was free parking (I believe Sundays are free). Outdoor seating is available, and there are two rooms with varied seating, and a little bathroom...
