Wang's — Restaurant in Lake View Township

Delicious drink and fun atmosphere!! Connected to Wakamono and kinda obscure from the street. I bring everyone I know here! Normally I"m an old fashioned guy, but there's is too watery and has very little flavor. The Bali Breeze is my favorite drink and I highly recommend.

They DO NOT have a happy hour which is different from what the website says. I hate companies who's website is out of date and gives its customers the wrong information when planning.

I also miss all the #eggplant photos that were gracing the walls of the bathroom. It just really made it a special bar in Boystown to go to with friends to start your night or as a first or 50th date night.

Wang's is pretty cool. They make a great Lychee maritini, which I had never even heard of until friend's took me to this non-descript 1920's opium den wanna-be. All the martini fruit is cut fresh in front of you. Can't beat it.

The bar's attached to Wakamono, and owned by the same people. The atmosphere brings a very ecclectic mix of Lakeview locals. Space is tight, so this place is NOT good for groups larger than four. With large crowds, drinks get spilled, people trip - it's not fun. The staff is super nice and pour a mad drink.

Be wary though, they hold an event once a month called "Mens' Room" and it is not for the light hearted. Check their online calendar or call...

The best cocktail bar in Lake View East! I've always enjoyed the drinks here - a bit pricy, but strong and worth paying extra for if you appreciate well-crafted drinks. The vibe inside is very chic, with fun artwork and dim lighting. The food menu is limited to simple appetizers, but Wakamono is right next door for a more substantial meal. My go-tos are the Black Manhattan and Lychee Martini. Note that the space is somewhat small, so it can be crowded at peak hours; you might have to wait for a seat. No...
