I've been to every coffee in Lakeland many times over the last 20 years and PRESSED is by far the best. I feel at home when I visit Pressed every morning because the staff welcomes me and all your customers with open arms. They treat every customer like family. The owner, Christina is truly amazing and she has created something very special for our town. A true gem nestled into downtown Lakeland. Her team is the best team in town. Sam, Emily, Sarah, Kailynn, and Bri are truly amazing and each one of them knows me by name and they always take the time to ask how I am doing. Pressed and their team remind me of back home so much. If you want great coffee, pressed is definitely the place. If you want delicious pastries, pressed is the pace. If you want any type of book, they are definitely the place. If you want a place to work, meet friends or take someone on a date, hands down this is the place. If you want to find a new home and family like me, Pressed is the only coffee shop in town. Pressed is all you need! I love you guys so much and thank you for always treating me like family. If you are visiting the area, Pressed should be on your must visit coffee shops. If you are a local, Pressed should be your daily stop for coffee & love! The best of the best in...

Five stars for the zen atmosphere, the place itself. The cashier kind of just looked at the ground until I said hello and ordered, but the other barista made us feel welcomed even when my 6 month old started getting loud because he was excited about the food we were eating. I love how they have a kiddie corner full of books, a little nook full of used books and then books throughout the shop. You can browse while enjoying your beverage. 4 stars on the food being a bit pricey for a bagel, but in the area that's understandable, I guess. The Chai tasted a bit watered down, like how a k cup run twice would taste for a coffee. I can't speak for the other drinks but I was just slightly disappointed with the Chai, for the price. I've had many a Chai from many different places, even in the middle east, and this came very very last. But if they could up their game with that, and if the other drinks are good, then that's all they need. And maybe someone to say hello when you walk up to the counter? Maybe I'm being picky, I don't know. Every thing else was great. Glad we didn't have to look for parking too far like some of these coffee places...

My wife and I try and work a few days out of the week from local coffee shops to enjoy a change of scenery.

We’ve been to every local coffee shop in Lakeland in the past two weeks and I must say Pressed is hands down our favorite in town!

A few complaints about the other shops that Pressed just gets right.

Some coffee shops in town lack good WiFi. Some have very noisy environments that aren’t conducive to working even with headphones. Some have great atmospheres but very uncomfortable seating. Not good for a few hours of work.

Pressed solves all these problems.

Great atmosphere with books all around. Very friendly staff. Tables and couches great for relaxing or working.

And the Coffee…..

So good. Not to mention the sweet treats they have. The oatmeal cookie was amazing!

Overall I have no complaints here.

This will become our regular spot to work, relax and grab some coffee and treats. Maybe get a new book as well.

5 out of 5 no question.

If you haven’t tried this place yet as a Lakeland local you are...

A coffee shop also partially disguised as a book store- how could things get any better?? Well, they also sell some art from local artists, have pastries from nearby favorite Honeycomb bread bakers, and serve other favorite Ethos coffee roasters! For any one who may wonder, Pressed took over the space where the business “Twenty-seven” used to be. And Twenty-seven is gone gone now, they didn’t move locations or anything sadly. But it’s a great location here, just off Massachusetts and the main street of downtown Lakeland, where the Farmers Market also takes place every Saturday. That’s how I accidentally realized this was open. My chai latte was wonderful and happy-making - any coffee that’s happy making is a good one! And I just love the atmosphere in this shop, it’s a perfect one to sit and enjoy company, or get work done, or read a book like a handful of people were when I went. It is as much a bookstore as a coffee shop, after all. Only good vibes!!!

if i could give a place 6 stars i would. my boyfriend and i are in town from Louisiana and we tried a new coffee shop every morning. this one was my personal favorite. i am a bookworm and a coffee lover. the books, merchandise, and coffee were all delicious. if you’re a coffee lover like me and want a nice mug as a Lakeland souvenir, they have the most precious swan mug. the coffee was delicious, the barista was so sweet and helpful, they even had a table to make Valentines day cards!!! i could go on and on! go check out Pressed LKLD for a good atmosphere and some good coffee!
