AMAZING PLACE, especially if you have dairy and gluten allergies. BECKY went above and beyond to take care of our family while we were in town from Atlanta for the Great American Teach In. Whenever we are in Lakeland we always order the Teriyaki Bowls for our family, as our daughters cannot have wheat or dairy. So it is always nice to treat them to something where you don't have to worry about the allergens or bland flavors. Our food was delicious, well portioned, and consistent every time. The staff is always so friendly, Joshua is the person who let me know that all of the original teriyaki is gluten free, as I always used to add this to the notes, and he pointed out a few months ago that there was no need to do that as the sauce is safe. I appreciate the love that goes into the customer service as it is always nice to be greeted by kind people who enjoy working with the public.

It was ok. Took my wife out for a lunch date. We've been meaning to go here. Food was good. Not anything exciting or new just typical "asian" franchise food. I got the chicken teriyaki with veggies and my wife got the steak with rice. A bit pricey but now we know. The teriyaki sauce on the table was good, we kept adding it to our protein hoping it would add flavor which it did. The hostess talked a million miles an hour, we had no idea what she was saying. Not wheelchair accessible. It's more of a take out rather than dine in, I couldn't see trying to get a stroller in the tight door and maneuver around corners to a table. We did the madness experience...wasn't so maddening. This goes on my one and done list..not for any bad reason, just wasn't exciting.

I loved it! Food was good, fresh, and affordable. It's my new go to for asian. Only downside is the amount of plastic they throw out. Everyone gets served in a plastic bowl with lid and they dont seem to recycle. I would suggest they encourage customers to take them home and reuse the (they're microwave safe) by telling them at the counter or with signage. If addition, they should have a recycling bin. That said the place is kept nice and clean and I love the outdoor seating. Again the food was great! Had orange chicken with vegetables, white rice, pot stickers, egg rolls and chicken teriyaki. Good job!

First time visiting! After an evening walk- no one was there. I ordered teriyaki bowl with fried rice and sat in.. i was thinking at some point I thought I ordered fried rice and looked at the ticket, in the midst of eating I went up and let the cashier know I ordered fried rice and you gave me white rice just refund the difference- $1.50 up charge, my order was $15.50 for the jr steak bowl with fried rice. She said she did not know how to do it, she was going to tell someone in the back, I said I will be sitting here, I wanted to just finish my food since I was almost done. A young lady from the back comes over after time with fried rice, I told her no I don’t won’t anymore rice I can’t eat all this, she said she could not give a refund but can give a voucher. I am telling her I just came from a walk I am not trying to eat all this, and I said I guess I can taste the fried rice since you brought it out, it was very hot. I was pretty much finish with my bowl with some white rice left from my dinner as that was enough and I was full. I went back up as I was leaving asking where is the voucher, she went and got the same young lady from the back and she said well you ate some of the rice, I am like I did taste the fried rice since you brought it to the table, I did not ask for more rice, I asked for the refund for the up charge since I had already been eating the white rice, you just brought this fried rice to the table after the fact and said you can’t give a refund but a voucher, then she said she told me it was a quick fix?? I left the rice there as I did want more rice and then she lied about saying she told me it was a quick fix when I did not even see her until she came later with the fried rice as I was finishing my bowl. Her name is Leslie, that was a bad experience and very unnecessary of her making that up....

Some time ago, we asked for their vegan and oil free options. I talked to a kind and knowledgeable chef who said we could have their tofu, ask for it vegan, he said. He also explained we could have the vegetables blanched and that would be an oil free option. Got it! We had the spicy version. We enjoy spicy food. He prepared it and it was delicious with the right mount of heat. We personally thanked him and told him we would return.

Went back and tried to place the order the way he recommended. The attendant and kitchen staff acted like we were ordering an impossible. No, we can’t make it without oil. Rather than keep arguing, I agreed to have them use as little oil as possible. Whoah! The tofu was soaked in the spicy sauce. It was inedible. Given the counter experience, we ate what we could. It was not a good experience.

But, we had enjoyed Teriyaki Madness’s food in the past. We wanted to give it another shot. Today, I tried placing the order using their website. That way I could state “vegan, vegetables blanched, no oil, please.” After what seemed like a long wait*, we got our food. Again, the amount of heat added made it inedible. Are they adding an excessive amount of heat to compensate for the lack of oil? Are they annoyed by a special request? Given the demeanor when I inquired about our order, I didn’t feel a conversation about how to make it better in the future would be productive. Besides, our mouths we uncomfortably burning.

We have enjoyed this place in the past. Service was friendlier too. After today’s experience, we can’t return.

It took 20-25 minutes to prepare. The place was empty and I didn’t see lots of take out orders going out either (the...

I have made several delivery orders on the Teriyaki Madness app and had not had any issues until tonight. I called the restaurant when it said Completed on the app, but I hadn't received anything at my door (I checked my neighbors and downstairs as well). The person who answered said that they use Doordash for their deliveries and he wasn't sure what had happened, but that he would call the driver and call me back. He called me back about 15 minutes later and said that the driver didn't answer his calls and there was nothing he could do since the owner wasn't there. But that she would be there the next day and would give me a call back and either give me a refund or a coupon. I asked if they could make the food and redeliver it since it was late and we were very hungry. He said no, but if I put another order in the app that Doordash will deliver the new order. He would not give me a refund either. Doordash called me about 30 minutes later and told me that the driver cancelled after picking up my order because the road to my apartment complex is closed (there are many roads to my apartment and one is under construction). They asked me how I wanted to proceed and I told them that I would still like to receive my same order of food since we were very hungry. They said okay and that they would let the owner know. I didn't receive another call back. The food finally did arrive after 10:30pm, but I was supposed to receive it at 8:08pm. My family and I will not be ordering from Teriyaki...
