Review of Bluegrass Pizza Hut
This Pizza Hut franchise falls drastically short of expectations, displaying an alarming lack of professionalism and adherence to safety standards. Employees flippantly disregard rules set in place to keep people safe with reckless abandon: no beard nets, inconsistent cleaning practices, and violations of food safety policies. Unprincipled behavior runs rampant, with children vaping in the kitchen, proper dish tank sanitizing being ignored, and the sanitizing dishwasher being misused in a "good enough" lazy manner.
Additionally, the manager of the store where I applied and accepted sent a job offer with a wage lower than agreed upon and promptly went on vacation, when I was finally able to make contact with Mike again he said had too many employees. This was a LIE, AND I DONT RESPECT YOU FOR IT, SIR. I now qualify your dickering my agreed wage as wage fraud. I was sent to another location (sewage pit on S Main) worked for three days and was subjected to calculated data manipulations and deceit, culminating in wage fraud and dubious termination. The owner of this(these) franchise(s) needs to open their eyes, monitor their cameras, and take corrective actions immediately.
As for the food, Pizza Hut remains known for its greasy yet irresistibly tasty offerings. The chicken, whether bone-in or boneless, consistently delivers good portion sizes. However, the reliance on conveyor ovens poses challenges for customizing orders, such as achieving a well-done finish. Contrary to some beliefs, reheating or additional cooking isn't feasible due to food safety constraints. Nevertheless, Pizza Hut policy generally accommodates dissatisfied customers with remakes, refunds, or store credits depending on the location.
While Pizza Hut as a corporation prides itself on cultivating employee growth and fostering a sense of belonging, this franchise is a glaring exception. The toxic environment here is a disservice to the brand's values and reputation. To potential customers and employees: proceed with caution. And to management: check my...
Read moreI am a local. My family and I have been ordering From the Waterloo Rd. Springfield Pizza Hut for years. I called to place an order tonight which we often do on Friday evenings. Let's just say that I am in absolute shock rn and immensely disappointed! I really can't believe the way I was just talked down to as well as treated from a shift leave by the name of James. What happened tonight was pretty foul and totally disrespectful. I will be calling the corporate offices as well as speaking with the manager Melissa tomorrow first thing. I was told that no one was there tonight who was hire in charge than the shift leave I spoke with. I don't know the owners name nor information because I was told there wasn't an owner...Really? That's news to me. I asked when the manager or someone hire than the shift leave whom I was speaking with would be in. "James" then proceeded to tell me that he didn't know, but at the earliest this Monday. Which would be three (3) days in a row without someone hire than a shift leave on the schedule? I also have a family member who works at this location. I'm really just in total shock and awe at the amount of disrespect and down right rudeness that was shown to a customer, let alone a lifelong one. This left a very bad taste in my mouth. In order for me to complain about anything (especially in the food service industry) there has to be a serious problem. I know how hard it can be at times. I have many family members who are employed in it. But I was told I was wrong over and over and over again. And instead of being nice and helpful, he went way out of his way to be as rude and nasty as he could be to me. I called several other locations and they also couldn't believe what happened. I had to call another franchise in order so I can get something to eat because James wouldn't deliver to a lifelong customer? This person should not be representing "ANY" Pizza...
Read moreEdit June 30 2022 We ordered online ( not app) ,when we got confirmation email it had changed from delivery to pick up. Called store they never answered phone, got to store 5 minutes before pick up time they supplied, waited an additional 15 minutes after trying the doors which were locked, tapping on the pickup window , then store window where we could clearly see 2 people inside to be ignored. Called the " hotline" since store wasn't answering, to get refund. At 10:15 pm a female from the store called 1) to inform me they were closed & 2) asking if we were picking up this order? I informed I was there waiting for 20 minutes to pick up my order THREE HOURS AGO, you couldn't bother to answer the phone/ door/ pick up window & you're calling me NOW? Her response? "Does that mean you're cancelling?" . Never any response from store, no contact from my " contact us" other than the automated " leadership will contact you within 3 days. There is NO excuse for this . I don't know what happened to the great team you had, but those there now? smh
I just want my money back for the food we never received. Owner contact welcomed.
We had to pull an all nighter to meet a deadline. Ordered late expecting the typical" so so it's food" delivery we've gotten in the past . This pizza hut , 2797 Waterloo Rd , surprised us with quality food arriving hot & fresh . A huge THANK YOU to the crew & delivery driver night shift May 3. Highly recommend...
