I'm posting this comment in hopes that management sees it and takes action. The food basically is good although I've had items that are sub par. I usually get the lasagna and it is always good. The service, however, is generally poor to terrible. Consistently poor service. Today, I went in and ordered the lunch special. You get an entree, a salad and a drink for $14.99. The price has gone up due to the pandemic, I'm sure. But today they have decided to start charging for a drink. To the tune of $3.50. Fine, tell me in advance and I'll get a water. The bill for the special was $20 in change. As usual nobody bothers to come by to offer to fill your drink cup up. You get down to the end of your meal and you have barely managed to get the food down and have a sip left of your tea.. This goes directly to the horrible service you get in place. Unfortunately, as much as I enjoy the lasagna, I will...
Read moreMangieri's is our "go to" local Italian food restaurant. Although most people seem to get pizza - and it's good pizza - they have lots of other items on the menu; Chicken fettuccine, spaghetti, calzone, sandwiches, etc. The complete menu is on their website, and everything is available via take out or delivery in addition to "eat in".
There's a covered outdoor dining area with playground for the kids, and TV's, usually tuned to sports for the adults. The indoor dining room is nothing fancy, concrete floors, standard issue booths and tables. They do have a bar so you can get beer, wine and drinks if you like.
There is plenty of free parking as it is located in a large strip shopping center on the northwest corner of Lohman's Crossing and RR620. (behind CVS).
The food is reliably good, service is generally prompt and friendly, and in four years we've never had to...
Read moreWould have loved to try this place. Barely busy. Maybe 5 tables. Took them over 10 minutes to get our drink order. Another 10 minutes to bring the drinks. At that time we ordered apps and meals as we were extremely hungry. Waited another 40 minutes without our server ever checking on us. Had to leave to get my wife's birthday dinner somewhere else.
Hope this place gets their act together. That was one of the worst experiences I've had dinning in quite some time.
UPDATE
I took Jessie up on her offer and the experience was might and day. Things happen, bad days occur. But they made up for it in a big way. The pasta was very good. Especially the lasagna. We understand the pizza is trademark, so we will be back to give that a try.
Thanks for making this right and proving that hospitality is dedication is truly something...
