Poor Customer Service from Amanda!!! Ordered off of Grubhub (3 times this week). Received a sealed, stapled bag (folded and stapled 4 times with a sticker to seal the outside of the bag) with the receipt stapled to the outside of the bag. Inside the bag were 2 meals (2 sandwiches with a side of fries and au jus) and was missing the 1/4 chicken meal with 2 sides (bbq beans and loaded potato salad), an extra side of french fries, 3 ice cream cups and all of the utensils. All of these items were on the receipt. So, I called the BBQ Pete's Lakewood location, spoke with Amanda, she lied and said she was the Manager, she said she reviewed camera footage from the time that I placed the order and could see that the kitchen staff put the items inside the bag. They were not inside MY bag when it was delivered. And the bag was not tampered with from the driver. Then, Amanda said Corey is the Manager and that he left the building, so there was no other Supervisor or Manager to talk to. Here's a good question? How many other orders of chicken and side dishes do you think were placed inside to go bags, ordered at the same time, through Grub Hub? How is Amanda able to determine that those items were placed inside MY bag? It's a ridiculous story. Amanda said the restaurant could not accommodate me, that I have to submit a refund request through Grubhub (which I did, and it takes 5 days for a refund). Also, due to Covid, the drivers are not allowed to open the bags to verify if ALL items are included, it wasn't the fault of the driver. Instead of Amanda apologizing for the misplaced items and incorrect order, Amanda was insistent that the it was no fault of the restaurant and refused to help. This was the 3rd time we have ordered from BBQ Pete's Lakewood location, in the last 2 weeks. That's over $300 worth of food and delivery and fees from this restaurant! We never had an issue, until now. Instead of Amanda apologizing for the incorrect order, missing items and inconvenience, she just argued. I don't need the money or the food. But, when you lack customer service and are incompetent of listening, it leads to a BAD REVIEW for ALL to see and read! We won't order from that...

I get my hair done near BBQ Pete’s and it always smells so good. So on Friday I decided to stop in! It’s decorated like a southern BBQ hall with picnic tables and such! I saw the awards displayed on the wall and felt good about eating there. I ordered the Brisket sandwich and one rib. I wanted the coleslaw but was skeptical, and the lady taking my order let me try it and it was a thumbs up! I took my order to my car and wanted to try the food before I headed home. I first tried the rib, it didn’t have a lot of sauce on it, I really can’t remember because I ate it so fast! The meat was so tender and delicious and I considered going back in to order a slab of ribs. After scarfing the rib down, I tried the brisket sandwich. It was deliciously flavorful. There’s a smoky sauce on it that I could have had more of! I added the coleslaw to the sandwich and that changed the game! I sat in my car deliberating on if I needed to get more food. Once my sandwich was done I decided that I needed an order of ribs. I went in and the server asked me was I back for more lol. I ordered a half slab of ribs w/ 2 sides, the coleslaw and the baked beans. Me and my daughter enjoyed that meal the next day! I hate I had to...

Went to BBQ Pete's today for my brother's bday. He loves brisket & burnt ends, he was excited to try it. We got a huge order couple slabs of ribs, 2lbs of brisket, 1lb of burnt ends, 1/2lb. of hot links, 3 large sides load potatoe salad, baked beans, Mac n cheese, 4 cornbread muffins & 1 lrg. sweet tea which was about$350. Which is expensive but if it's good you're willing to pay more. We got it home & we're soooo disappoint! The brisket is basically shaved with the grain pot roast, not much flavor and no bark. The burnt ends look like cubes of prime rib with no bark at all. Ribs were decent. Hot links were basically spicy hot dog pieces. Mac and cheese was runny ok flavor, beans & potatoe salad was average. Sweet tea was definitely not Southern sweet tea. The best thing was the free pickles. I'm disappointed since my brother was really looking forward to this. I will say the front of house servers were very nice, friendly & helpful with orders. Restaurant was clean, food just...

So out of all places I've tried for bbq this is by far one of my favorites. I always order the pulled pork sandwich with bbq and corn bread. They do offer two free ribs for service members in uniform on tuesdays which is a plus. It can be pricey but I personally think it's worth it. The ribs are cooked real nice and have amazing flavor the pulled pork sandwich most of the time is super good I usually add more sauce cause on occasion it can be dry. The butter that comes with corn bread is so good and the cornbread I enjoyed a lot and the bbq beans is good it is what you'd expect not the fanciest but definitely tasty. I do always order a soda and there is free icecream and a sign that shows ways to eat the ice cream one being a root beer float. Lots of sauce options by the fountain drinks and all good flavors. I recommend this place a lot I go here quite often.

First off, let me say that I'm real picky about BBQ places. There's a lot that goes right here, though. Saw them and I stopped in on a whim for some lunch. Immediately the smell hits you when you walk in the door - that solid smoked meat smell. They've got a good selection on the menu and it is priced right for BBQ. I got a Double Dawg Deal with a Spicy Chop and a Brisket and cheese. The B&C was very cheesy. The spicy chop had great flavor. Drinks were fabulous here too. I'd never even heard of Cranberry Pineapple as a juice combination, but it hit the spot. All the sauces were pretty good as well. I prefer spicy sauces and found the Zesty to hit the mark. And complimentary soft serve Cones. Yes. Free ice cream. Full stop. I'm not down in this area often, but when I'm around Lakewood, I'd definitely hit this place again.

We tried to get the dinner and they were out of chicken at 2:30pm. It was July 4th, so I get they are busy. When I asked what sandwich was the best between the no name and the brisket, the lady couldn’t answer. She just told me the no name was popular. The food was out quickly. We got a 20oz drink and there are coke products and different drink options including ice tea sweetened and unsweetened. The food was just ok. The slaw was what you would expect and the Mac and and cheese had so much sauce the noodles were drowning. The sandwich was good. There are long tables with bench seats. I liked the sink in the dinning room to wash your hands. The bathrooms, at least the lady’s one was clean and there is a changing station that was cleaner than most I have seen. I wouldn’t come back to eat here. It’s nothing special.
