This place it the best. I used to come here 30 years ago when I was practising stained glass. They were known for having the best supplies in the area. In a recent move a 24" diameter Tiffany style lamp I had made got crushed on the bottom of one side. I took it to Mandarin to be repaired, because I no longer have the tools nor the finger strength it takes to copper foil. When I walked in the shop I was taken back 30 years. The place looked the same and the same quiet, but lovely woman runs the place. She cannot do the work herself anymore so she sent it out to a trusted colleague to be repaired. I was charged a reasonable price for a difficult repair, and the lamp came back very well done with the correct matching glass. I am very pleased!
