On Saturday September 6th I called in the morning to let the staff know that at 1:30 I would be arriving with a party of 12 family members to celebrate my birthday they thanked me for the preparation call my husband and myself arrived at1:00 we were greeted once again with gratitude for letting them know about the big group the staff prepared a place on the North side of the restaurant by the take out side what should have been 12 people turned out to be 17 I had the ABSOLUTE PRIVILEGE!! Of having Haley as our server she was accompanied by Felix I feel bad as there was a third gentleman I don’t remember what they told his name was but from the moment we arrived we were treated very well Haley was on it she made sure that the proper amount of kids menus were put out she explained the 3 for 3 and other items I apologized for the extra people she kindly said don’t worry I’ve got you Haley is a professional well seasoned server she was on it everybody’s order was taken all at once drinks came in sync then the food Felix and the other gentleman helped bring the food out like a well oiled machine they did not miss a beat and if we asked for more napkins refills or chips and salsa it was refilled stat with a smile Haley Felix and the other gentleman kept it going smiling the whole time Haley even accommodated us by taking some photos of all of us they then made my day complete by the staff coming out to sing Happy Birthday to me I am so grateful to you all for being so kind and so thoughtful and professional in this day and age you usually get someone who complains about the big group and how they are short staffed not that day they were rocking and rolling being attentive to us and still waiting on the other people in the section we were in I also shared a personal story with the day manager about why this day was so special because I lost my son during Covid and his children who we don’t see very often were present he was so listening and empathetic I could go on and on I will definitely be back to sit in Haley’s section and to see Felix and everyone else who made my Birthday special and unique WAY TO GO CHILIS THANK YOU FOR GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND...
Read moreI'm so disappointed. I've was a regular (4 -6 times a month) for 30 years. Tonight was probably the worst experience I've had at Chili's. It has been in decline for at least 15 years. First of all I want to say that my waiter was good. It's not his fault. I ordered an Old timer burger, but they were out of burgers , at 7:30 pm. So, I ordered boneless chicken wings and fries. The wings hurt - it was like trying to eat rocks. The fries were obviously twice fried and cold. Bleh! What a terrible meal! I had a Blue Moon on tap and then a Presidente Margarita. It has been decontented to maybe tequila and sweet and sour. They used to be great. Chili's has removed so many great menu items: NY Steak, Chili's Cheese burgers, Lettuce Wraps, . The Baby Back Ribs used to be excellent. They used to have a choice of 4 sauces or treatments and they were hot, crisp on the outside, tender on the Inside and so flavorful. My favorite was Memphis Dry Rub. The last few (4 or 5) times I've had the ribs they were terrible! They were mushy and flavorless. When the waiter told me they were out of burgers I didn't even consider the ribs because they have become so bad. Come on Chili's! You can do better than this! I 1st become a Chili's regular in Houston in 1978 when I was a freshman in college. Chili' cheese burgers and frozen Margaritas were my favorites back then. Through the years Chili's got better and better. For the last 15 years it's been worse and worse. I still want Chili's to be great. Please get back to offering great food and drinks in a casual and not too...
Read moreI wasn’t going to leave a review, but I’m still bothered by my experience here. My fiancée and I were here on the 30th of December. When we came in the hostess said there would be a little wait, she asked for my name and number to put down and it would be 10min wait. The odd part was half the restaurant was empty, so figured they were short staffed that day and that’s understandable. What wasn’t understandable was the fact your hostess forget we were there, asked what my name was about 3 times in a row. She sat people that came in after us after we had already been waiting. She essentially just forgot we were waiting. And she seemed very confused and frazzled, there were literally 2 groups of 2-3 people waiting to be seating, it’s not like there was 15 people. Once we were finally acknowledged and I was asked what my name was for the 3rd time, your hostess points at a booth in the bar and asks me if that’s an okay spot for me and my fiancée. I said that would be great, and then she’s proceeds to hand me the menus while my hands are full with my purse and phone and just gestures over to the booth we can sit at. Then just turns away and keeps standing up front. Explain to me what the point of having a hostess if she can’t even actually take you to your seat and bring your menus with you. Honestly one of the rudest and most unprofessional experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. And even after we were sat I believe a waitress came over to us once or twice. Really terrible service....
