Green Pup Sports Bar — Restaurant in Lakewood

I came to The Pub for the first time because I was waiting for a friend to pick me up. Imediatley upon entering the bar, the bartender working seemed tense. I asked her how her day was going and she replied, "It just started"... The attitude I received from the bartender within 2 minutes of being in the facility was overwhelming. I thought maybe her Tonality and Customer service would change. I ordered a beer and looked around for tabs. I seen the tabs and asked the bartender if I could buy some. Again the bartender replied in a non inviting tone saying she doesn't have access to them. I asked when they would be available and she shrugged her shoulder that she did not know. About 1 minute went by and I asked the bartender for her name. She asked why, I stated I did not want to drink the beer that I ordered and I did not want to continue to occupy the bar with the poor customer service and attitude I was receiving. She told me that I had to pay for the beer because I opened it. I clearly did not open the beer and did not want to pay for a full beer I did not drink. I really could not sit there any longer with the horrible hospitality quality. I asked the bartender who the manager was and she said she was. I asked who was ahead of her she said she didn't need to tell me. I asked who the owner was and her answer remained the same. She asked me to leave and stated she has me on video tape for not paying for the beer. However I did not drink the beer so would not agree to pay for it. I would not recommend this bar due to my experience today. Maybe she was not having the best day but having many year's of customer service experience I would never treat a client/customer the way...

The bartenders are amazing they're really kind I'm from Kelso Washington so how long you in town for 2 days and wanted to go out to a bar. Through drinks we found green pup Sports Bar and we absolutely love the place my friend applied four positions in the following day there's the music box lots of pool tables really great vibes the food was absolutely delicious and they're open longer than what are the bars in this area if you got a long day at work and you get off work later I highly recommend stopping in at the green pup Sports Bar if you want to let loose and relaxed and I enjoy a little bit of fun this is the place to unwind even for lunch or dinner and having a beer or a mixed drink so if you're out of town and you're dropping in Tacoma stopping at the green pup Sports Bar you won't regret it I definitely will be back I might not even go to any other bar absolutely love this...

First off, its no longer the Green Pup. The space that it used to occupy got combined with the adjoining space and now is called the Breakroom. A poolhall with ten pool tables and four electric dart boards. Also, there's a bar, a kitchen with a two page menu and a Juke box. The Cowboy burger was da bomb. 1/3 pounder w/ onion rings and BBQ sauce. At 4" tall you almost have to be part snake, because you almost have to dislocate your jaw in order to eat it. As a bar, I would give this place 3 stars, but as a pool...
