Lately, I've been disappointed with the service at the Jack-In-The-Box on Lakewood and South, and honestly don't know if I'll be back there anytime soon. The wait times have been extremely long . Last Thursday night, after waiting for almost an hour, a kind lady by the name of Tinea walked up to our car and compensated for the long wait time by offering us some large fries and a large shake. She offered to remake the order we'd asked for, but our child was already growing restless, and there were still so many other cars waiting. This employee, while nice and professional, seemed overwhelmed trying to take orders along with assisting her other coworkers. During the time my wife and I were waiting for our food and drinks, it appeared that orders were constantly being taken back, with customers not being satisfied with the food they were given due to these orders being incorrect. Meanwhile, the experience itself was frustrating, but I'm grateful the woman who took our order was efficient and wanted to compensate for the lack of communication from the staff at this location . I of course understand that not everything goes according to plan, and some nights will be busier than others. I noticed some of the good reviews are made by employees of this Jackinthebox. I recognize the hispanic woman and some of the other reviewers. Pretty bad that a restaurant has to have employees post reviews because their other reviews are bad.
The hispanic woman who was taking my order obviously needed a hearing aud as I had to repeat my order 4 times.
She then proceeded to go towards the back and make fun of different customers with another hispanic lady. They made fun of how I walk and how I had to use a walker.
My order took 10 minutes and it was just an original egg sandwich. When I finally received the sandwich the bun was burnt.
I tried to place a complaint with corporate but they don't have a customer service dept. REALLY! When I told the lady at corporate how I was discriminated against and how bad the sandwich was she stated " you have a right to feel this way" Like REALLY. Their employees broke the law and you don't care.

I asked the man standing at the counter if he ordered, he said go ahead. After 3 minutes of standing there, the lady pointed at the kiosk for me to order. I looked through the kiosk and couldn’t find side of eggs. When I explained to the lady that I couldn’t order it on kiosk, she pointed me to the next kiosk saying the first one she’d pointed me to was broken. Why would you tell me to use it if it’s broken. So I tried the second kiosk, same results. A man working the fryer came forward told me to again use the kiosk, I explained that what I wanted to order was not listed on the kiosk. He then proceeded to ask the man standing at the counter if he needed to order and took his order in Spanish. Once he took his order, the man working the fryer walked away not taking my order.
