My overall experience at this location in Lakewood was completely over the top and reignited our desire to support Red lobster. Our server Paris was exemplary. He greeted us with kind salutations and ensure does that he would do his best to give us the best service that we could have this evening. After we place our orders for beverages that he personally inquired what our desires were and assisted Us in making proper choices he inquired if we would like water because it was hot outside 90° today and the Los Angeles area we thanked him because it in fact was needed to hydrate our advertisers came out soon after very thankful the service that was offered was very refreshing. As we as a family go out to a Sunday meal on first Sunday every month overall this service was completely rewarding. I'm not only did Mr Paris and the staff at this location free game Our Hope and the food industry service they were proud to help us out with our visit. The reason I am taking time to complete a customer review is not a week ago but a few days ago we attempted to support Red lobster and enjoy a wonderful meal at the Inglewood location we received very different service. We waited 45 minutes at around 1:00 p.m. with open tables because there was one waiter and one bus table representative one manager one bar associate and one greeter who was also cleaning tables. We waited 45 minutes only to be told that there was a new staff member coming in in just a few moments we never saw that staff member so we did leave after seeing friends who were seated their appetizer. I was present at their front of the restaurant table when they asked for a straw and the waitress walked by 3 times and never brought a straw. I then left Red Lobster and walked to Chilli's and they were full all tables being used as it appeared. However we were taken directly to a table. Given water and asked want other beverages we may be interested in ... In not only :20 we had beverages and guess what we even had appetizers we placed our food entree request. I called my friend who was at Red Lobster they still have not placed their entree order. I offered to have them come over to sit with us.
Back to today's visit in Lakewood. Thank you for this location. From the Manager who clearly has lead her staff to excellence. I thank Ms. Lea as the shift manager. She was kind and attentive not knowing what I wanted to speak to her about.
I did forget to mention I live :20 from the Inglewood location and :45 from the Lakewood location.
I will spread the word of this great experience.

DON'T GET ME WRONG, The staff was pleasant. That waitress took our order, didn't write it down but I didn't think much of it. Most good waitresses can multi-task. She got us those delicious bread rolls (sorry, My Wife knows what they are. I don't) & Water then asked me again what my drink order was, she thought it was Sam Adams but I said Bud Light & apologized said she was glad she didn't place the drink order & said she would correct it. She also introduced us to our Real waitress back from break. Our dinner was our quickly, My wife noted to the Waitress, whom was not the one we were introduced but I guess the staff helps each other, that we had not received our appetizer or my Beer. She said she would check then we declined, told her we didn't want it but thanks. The real waitress came with our appetizer. We told her we didn't want it & Thanked her after she told me her boss said to Comp it to them. That was nice. --

I had an issue today that could’ve ruined a special birthday dinner, but thanks to Lea, it turned into one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
I placed an order online through Red Lobster’s website at exactly 3:37 PM. The order was picked up by a DoorDash driver just before 4:00 PM and was scheduled to be delivered by 4:28. At 4:31, I received a message saying my order had been canceled despite the fact that it was already picked up and marked “en route.”
DoorDash was no help. They blamed Red Lobster because I ordered through their site but their own driver had picked up the food and vanished. No explanation. No refund. No resolution. It felt like someone just took our food and ran.
Frustrated, I called Red Lobster. The team was kind and passed my call on to Lea and that’s where everything changed.
Lea took ownership of the situation immediately. She reached out to DoorDash herself, found out exactly what happened, and confirmed that the driver had canceled the delivery after pickup for no reason. Lea quickly had our entire order remade, repacked, and redelivered this time, without a hitch.
But that’s not all. She added extra touches to make it special because this order was meant to celebrate my mother’s birthday and Red Lobster is her favorite restaurant. It was also my first time trying Red Lobster, and this was how she wanted to share it with me. Thanks to Lea, we were still able to have that moment.
The food arrived sealed, untouched, fresh, and absolutely delicious. It tasted even better knowing someone went above and beyond to make sure we received it.
Lea, you are a true example of what excellent customer service looks like. You didn’t just solve a problem you cared, communicated, and followed through. You took responsibility for something outside your control and turned a frustrating experience into something memorable. I hope Red Lobster recognizes you, rewards you, and realizes how lucky they are to have someone like you on the team. Thank you for building a culture with your team to make sure your customers are satisfied. I’ll definitely be back and next time, we’re dining in with Lea.
