I recall having a ham from Honey Baked Ham sometime in the past, but don't remember if I was impressed by it or not. The Los Angeles Times had a Honey Baked Ham advertisement w/ various coupons for Easter. One coupon was $23.99 for a Dinner Sampler consisting of ham, turkey, ribs & 2 sides, feeding 4. My mom was interested in the sampler, and asked me to make reservations. Not seeing it on the website, I called the nearest location and inquired about it. I was told the sampler was on a first come, first served basis. Not wanting to wait in the expected huge line on Easter, we simply waited till the next day, as that was when the coupon expired.

Being the next day, my mom redeemed the $23.99 Dinner Sampler coupon, choosing scalloped potatoes & potato salad as the side. She said they were out of mashed potatoes. Here's my impression-

Ham - The namesake of Honey Baked Ham, their ham didn't disappoint. Moist, tender, with a subtle sweetness. I prefer the sugar factor to not be cloyingly sweet, which I approved of. "Better than your mama made"? Sure, why not?

Turkey - The slices of turkey breast weren't dry at all, unlike most people's birds at the Thanksgiving table. I've never been much of a turkey fan, being how it's so lean & the lack of flavor thereof. If you like turkey, though, you'll probably enjoy Honey Baked's.

Ribs - The ribs had a sweet BBQ sauce slathered on them, and had a good amount of meat to bone. Alas, just as I'm not big on turkey, I'm also not high on ribs. I do enjoy KBBQ short ribs, and I'll happily put away a medium rare ribeye, I find sauced ribs like these only okay.

Scalloped potatoes & potato salad - I'm a big proponent of all the picnic salads - macaroni, egg, tuna, fruit &, of course, potato. A good potato salad is creamy, cool and with a slight acidic component to it. Honey Baked Ham's potato salad was on point. Reminding me of Stater Bros.' potato salad, I found the salad refreshing & highly pleasurable. The scalloped potatoes were not to be outdone, as they were tasty, as well. However, the potato salad shined the brightest.

I believe the Dinner Sampler feeding 4 is true, if those 4 were light eaters. I think the added caveat should be " * or 2 with healthy appetites".

Honey Baked Ham does, indeed, serve up a delicious ham. The dinner sampler is a good deal, if a little meager in portions. I'm glad my mom used the coupon, as I would have otherwise considered her being gypped. Next Easter, I'll let my mom know to just buy the ham, instead, if she's so...

I ordered a a ham dinner for my elderly Mother on 4-3-2020 who would be spending Easter alone this year to be delivered on 4-10. I received a email confirmation of my order for her. All day on the day of delivery she must have checked her front door 20 times and no dinner was delivered on Friday! I tried calling Honeybaked customer service on Friday but they were closed at 5:30 for the weekend. My 95 year old Mother continued to check her front door again all day on Saturday still no Ham dinner! My Mother ended up on Easter with left over Chinese food! I live 100 miles away. I called customer service when they opened at 10:30 am on Monday morning 4-13 and was 270 in qui and was on hold for 4 1/2 hours.When it was finally my turn I got disconnected! I called customer service back and was again 270 in qui, I hung up and called the Lakewood, Ca store and spoke to an associate Rochelle and asked her what happened to my Moms order and she said they tried to deliver up to Saturday 4-11 and they stopped taking orders on 4-9. My order was placed a week in advanced on 4-3 and their was no reason why it couldn’t be fulfilled! My phone number and my Mother’s number were on the confirmation order, why didn’t they call us to let us know it wouldn’t be delivered? Honeybaked Ham continued to run commercials all week long for hams. I am a long time customer of Honeybaked Ham but this one is the worst of customer service and delivery! Shame on you Honeybaked Ham for taking my money and leaving my 95 year old Mother without an Easter dinner! I hope to hear from Honeybaked Ham soon...

Unfortunately my mother told me rather late before Thanksgiving. She wanted to have HoneyBaked Ham from The HoneyBaked Store cuz I asked her that I sent you want me to go to the HoneyBaked Store or what.? She replied well of course I do want you to go to the store. So I called them to see what I can do about it they had they told me they had hands left that what did I want I told him something small just two of us so this may I ask. Can I get it tomorrow what time tomorrow can I pick it up is it in the morning she says no you can pick it up now if you like wow was I shocked. I couldn't believe it I just couldn't leave I just thought you know something print Heaven just happened to me no just kidding but. This your I got there there was no one in mine there was nothing but happy faces around everyone that was going in and coming out happy faces and the people work there had happy faces so it made my you have a happy face.
