absolutely the worst service ive ever had in lakewood. we ordered drinks that took time but the bar had several people so it was expected. we ordered appetizers only and we watched 5 innings of the baseball game before they reached us. then when the server finally stopped over, our drinks are empty, she asks about where my food is, when i said none of the APPETIZERS ever came out she immediately had an attitude that the kitchen only had two people and was backed up. there were MAYBE 5 tables with people and the bar was only half full AND people had left since we got there. at no point did she ask or refill drinks, copped an attitude when i had to ask for our food, then even though wed been waiting 5 INNINGS her only solution was offering to go boxes 🤣 and id like to clarify at 20$ per person plus tip we didnt eat the food she eventually brought out because it was cold and the muscles were rubber. i got a cup of chili which is actually in a condiment cup for 6$, it was mostly giant hunks of tomatoes, the "cup" was the size of the spoon head and again. cold. then on top of it all the restrooms are down in a rickety basement hallway with one stall, that doesn't lock, they look like a kindergartener built and maintained them. and honestly as a woman i would not use them for cleanliness or safety concern. then my fiance concurred the mens was just as bad. we still tipped 20% but we wont be back.

I have been coming to this establishment for years and years. The beer selection is very good, and their Guinness is very fresh. Their wings are very crispy and flavorful. They don't offer what I call a very spicy hot sauce, but my tolerance for heat is off the charts. 😂 The rest of their food is always well prepared. The service is always on point. My only slight negative would be that their prices are a little high. Whenever I get my bill I usually think, "Hmmm, that's higher than I was expecting.".

I’m not sure if I didn’t have wings in a long time or if these are the best wings I’ve had in my life. The wings were so juicy and tasty. Although the portions of fries were tiny, they were goods. I ordered ten honey bbq wings and fries, and my bill was $19. The seating was a bit uncomfortable, but overall great experience and great food. I will return again If you find this review helpful, please leave a thumbs up🙃

I’ve been here multiple times and never had an experience like this. Me and my family are regulars here and we know the long time bar staff, usually we have genie and she is awesome. We had Eric tonight and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant before. He approached us got us drinks everything was all good, up until we ordered. Everyone put in there food order and he went back to the bar talking to other people for quite awhile, we sat with empty drinks for atleast 20 minutes. When he brings our food out (4 people, me, my mother, my aunt, and my friend) he also brings another “to go” box of food for bill. Who is my mothers fiancé and is out of town on a business trip in Illinois, mind you we are in Ohio. Before we even get to say anything he says he has ordered us another salad to go WITHOUT our permission for bill who is not even in the state. Even though we tell him this multiple times he still plays dumb like we are to stupid to notice he is trying to scam us. Fast forward a bit and we are waiting for the check, I will told him in the beginning that me and my friend were going to be separate on one check and my mother and her friend were going to be another check. He comes to the table and insisted it be on one check. Didn’t make me feel very comfortable after the whole salad thing. He brings me a check 39 dollars and some change is my total. Cool no problem, put my card in and he takes it 15 minutes later. Comes back with my card and bill, hands it to my mother. We switch check presenters only to find out that he had taken the original copy of my 39 dollar total out completely and charge me another 15 dollars for the extra salad that he rang in that no one ordered after we told him no multiple times. I ask him to come to the table and question him about why he had taken my original copy out and why my bill had went from 39 to 56 and he started to get mean and angry. He got in my face and spit all over us while he claims he was doing bill a favor. BILL IS NOT IN OHIO. We came here to have a good time with me mom and her friend and Eric ruined it completely, we have been regulars for awhile but WILL NOT be coming back. Don’t come here unless you want...

The Rush is sort of the quintessential fun and welcoming neighborhood bar/restaurant. It's a good place for an affordable meal and some drinks during game, a casual meet up, or a dinner before a show. You can choose bar or booth seating on the bar side or the restaurant side which has larger booths and is separated from the bar by a dividing wall. The staff is always very friendly, fast, and helpful. There are TVs on both sides usually tuned to the Cavs, Guardians, or Browns games depending on the season. The fish fry and potato pancakes are excellent and the soups and chili are on point. Fried items will sometimes take a while during peak times though, so if you plan on seeing a show at the Beck Center make sure you arrive well before your showtime.

The bar side atmosphere is very casual and relaxed, the drinks are good, and the bartenders are attentive and friendly. There's a mix of domestic and smaller independent breweries on tap usually including a cider, which I like and the environment is just generally welcoming. The booths and taps are always very clean, and while the decor is absolutely the most generic thing you have ever imagined, it is well kept. Now while some more cultured people like to have drinks in a more modern bar, underneath some strange hanging light that looks like a nipple, standing next to a life size plastic penguin that's been spray painted gold, I actually appreciate the classic bar/diner environment and that's why the Rush Inn is my...
