Sharetea Belmar — Restaurant in Lakewood

It was my first time coming here and I wasn't too happy about my drink and how it taste like, since I didn't expect it to be too sweet. I asked the staff if I can have my drink less sweet. The staff didn't seem to care about my complaints and I ended up throwing away my drink after a few sips. In other tea bars, I had similar experiences where i wanted to exchange my drink and they were able to do so to my liking. If this tea bar wants to hold up to other tea bars' quality, they need to show more care on customer satisfaction. One drink replacement shouldn't put your business down, especially for your new customers.

Edit: the response from the manager below makes it seem that I wanted my order to be below 0% sweetness. I want to make it clear that I ordered a regular fresh milk tea, and after that, asked for a less sweet one after expressing my dissatisfaction. The main takeaway is this: if you ordered a drink here and turns out you don't like the taste, don't expect to get any replacement drinks like any...

Called to place a Togo order and was told you make Togo orders on the app when I asked what app I was just told “THE APP”. After scrolling and downloading every milk tea app I could find and even going to their website I couldn’t find the app they were talking about. I go in and place my order, I’ve never been here so I asked for a large and she looked at me as if I slapped her right in the face and said there is only one size in a horrible tone. I brush it off and say okay and continue my order. When I get to the boba pearls I say it exactly that way and she just kept staring at me. Finally after this was finished I’m waiting for my drinks, and they call my number. I walk up to get them and the same woman who took my order wanted to take my receipt to confirm the order was mine. She refused to let me take the drinks until I gave her my receipt. No one else was in the restaurant, so there wasn’t anyone else it could have been. Just all around bad service. Drinks were good...

Boba spots are few and far between unless one drives down to the slightly more ethnic neighborhood of Aurora (specifically the area around Havana St). Because of this, I am glad that Sharetea has a location in the Belmar area which is not too far from where I live! Most of their drinks are really tasty and reasonably priced in my opinion especially when you take advantage of their point system. The reason I take a star off is because I am not a big fan of really sweet food/drinks and also prefer not to pay for a cup full of ice. I always ask for 30% sweetness level and minimal ice but end up getting a drink that is similar in sweetness as my girlfriend's drink which is full sweetness level and about a quarter of a cup of ice. Not the end of the world since I normally just bring some water with me to dilute it but I feel like it is a regular enough occurrence that taking a star off...
