IF I COULD RATE THIS A ZERO, I WOULD! First, we came in for a Work- Lunch and a Business Call. The Music in the Lobby was BLARING and couldn't hear our Client over the Staff's PARTY MUSIC. I asked the Manager lady if she could kindly turn it down a notch, because Our Client complained that they couldn't hear us over the Blaring Music! The same Manager lady, who Remained NAMELESS, told me that she couldn't turn it down. Then walked away. We proceeded to order a Classic Meal among other things. In the Burger, they forgot the Lettuce. It took almost 10 minutes for someone to bring some lettuce, The Burger by this time was COLD and Almost gone by now, although there was no other Customers waiting. The Medium Fries were served Cold, nearly HALF FULL and Mostly Crumbs that looked like they were at the bottom of the Barrel and Scraped up Remnants. Customers And a Whole Crew JUST STANDING AROUND! When Gentleman returned with lettuce. We showed him the Fries that we were disappointed with, and told him that we specifically ordered our Fries to be dropped Fresh, and didn't mind waiting for them, We also explained that the serving looked as if they were only a Small Searving. He went back, to Kitchen and the ENTIRE CREW was commiseraing on the French Fry Debocle for at least 5 minutes. Everyone JUST STARED, and Noone did anything! Staff constantly gave us drty looks and kept laughing at us. We thought that someone was going to fix the Fries. We WAITED some more... Finally, we called someone back to our Table. A young Man came back with 2 empty Fry boxes, and said the Kitchen wanted him to compare the Small and Medium boxes with us. We told him that the serving wasn't sufficient and were also COLD. Again we were Ignored. I Finally stood up and asked for the Manager. Another guy FINALLY made his way to our Table and we Explained it to him too. WE GOT ZERO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FROM ANYONE! We were on Lunch and needed to Meet with a Client back at the office and still never received our Lunch as ordered. I told the guy that we Needed to SPEAK ONLY WITH THE MANAGER. After several Minutes, he came back and said, "She's busy", then walked away. We said that we would wait, and aren't leaving until someone fix these Fries. FINALLY, the NAMELESS Manager Lady Very short, spoke with a Heavy Spanish accent, and hair in a bun on the top of her head, came out again, we explained everything to her again. She refused to fix the Fries then WALKED AWAY! I asked her for her Name Many times and She refused her Name MANY TIMES. We said that as a Manager, that she should fix our Fries. She said, "Then you can come up front to get your French Fries." This was a Ridiculous! I'm sure you can check the CAMERA FOOTAGE, and suggest that you do. We got up Went to the counter. She Proceeded to Ring them up as if she wanted it To PAY FOR THE FRIES AGAIN! We were about to leave, when yet Another Frusted Customer was ALSO complaining about his Botched Meal. He got Frustrated as well. Watching him experience Similar Ignorance. Finally, Another Male Manager walked in for his Shift. We explained what happened, he said. OK, Is that the Only thing you wanted? To which we Replied, "Yes, THAT'S IT, very simple. He was happy to replace the bad Fries and we left. Now, I have Managed Many Restaurants, and I have NEVER EVER received such DEPLORABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I'm Pretty Positive that NOBODY WANTS ANYONE LIKE THIS AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF YOUR COMPANY! THIS WAS ONLY FRENCH FRIES... AND 1 TABLE. HOW MANY TIMES DOES THIS KIND OF STUFF HAPPEN REGULARLY WHEN YOUU ARE NOT WATCHING - How much Revenue Must you LOSE before this is Corrected? Afterall, there are PLENTY of other Hamburger Restaurants that would Appriciate a Good Regular Customer. What would Dave Thomas have thought about this POOR SERVICE andHis Lagacy? Take it for what...
Read moreI went through the drive thru to order my food. I was told $7.94 for the total. I pull up to the window and then I was told $10 some thing. I said" I thought it was $7.94??" I pulled into the parking lot to eat my food. When I was done, I went inside to get a frosty. The cashier who took my order was standing next to the dive-thru cashier who was going to over charge me and was aware of the situation. When I asked for the frosty she asked "is that it?"with a paustoe and hesitation. I said yes. She gave me the frosty on the house. That was nice and thoughtful of her, but my question is why didn't she offer the frosty at the window when the situation occurred? And she asked in the way of If I was to order anything else the frosty wouldn't have been on the house. If I wouldn't have went inside I wouldn't have got the frosty. The frosty isn't the point. It's the handling of the situation. I was going to give the rating a 2 star but the free frosty made it go to a 1. Doesn't really sound logical but when you take a step outside off the box and analyze the situation it makes sense for the rating score. I understand people make mistakes, but 1st impressions are everything. There was only 1 person in front of me in the dive thru. Just saying. To the cashier who gave me the frosty, I appreciate the gesture, but on the flip side of that, 2 angles of thought come to my mind. I question your Morales and ethics as a person. But, I would also say, don't hold back in life. Always trust your gut instincts. I would say that you want wanted to offer some kind of gesture for the situation that occurred. And I also understand that you don't want confrontation. It's a crazy feeling. The adrenaline gets going a little bit, and so on, and so forth. But you saw how relaxed I was. I wasn't mad, or anything of that nature. Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting a frosty every time the wrong price is told to me. Trust your gut. There's a reason it's put into context as if your doctor had to answer a question about it on his exam in...
Read more(Updated) TL;DR - eat in or drive through (and check your order) is quick, easy, and yummy. Do not order delivery unless you are okay with eating whatever they send - more than 50% of the time they get my delivery order significantly wrong, not in a minor way.
I like this Wendy's overall, it's always clean inside and even during busy hours they are fairly fast in drive through. That said, they are frequently out of something - often ice cream - and twice this year they haven't been able to accept cards, only cash (unsure why). Overall a good eating experience but a few things that can be frustrating when you drive out and go home empty handed.
Update: I would give the restaurant 4/5 stars for eating in or ordering there. However I have to say 2/5 for delivery. I order delivery often because I am disabled and immunocompromised, so during COVID19 it has been safer that way. Unfortunately I won't order delivery anymore because they almost never get our order right. I don't know why, as ordering in the restaurant it is always right. Of the last 6 times I've ordered delivery here, 4 out of 6 I was given spicy nuggets that I cannot eat due to an allergy to certain spices and not handling hot food well. It is really frustrating that more often than not, they get the nuggets wrong. Twice they have only given us one fry when we ordered two combos with fries, and once we got a small fry for a medium order. 1/3 of the time we get the wrong sauces for our nuggets, too. I don't know what the issue with delivery is, but while the service is quick and food good, I would only order drive through or eat in, the delivery service is terrible for getting your...
