Updated June 26, 2025 - Got here at 6:30 on a Thursday night and had a table within 10 minutes. Food and service was spot on yet again!

Jan 2025 - First time to Pru Thai this past Friday. It was very busy and they don't take reservations. But you can put your name on the list, with your phone number, and they'll call you when a table is available. This way you can go next door or across the street and have a glass of wine while you wait. We got there at 6:30 and got lucky with seating - a table for two opened up within 5 minutes. The place was hopping, good atmosphere, people chatting, table next to us happy to share the name of the dishes they had just been served. We had the appetizer sampler platter, very good, the beef salad, excellent and a good portion (likely dinner for some), the calamari salad, also excellent, then our mains - Green Curry Shrimp and the Pad Thai with Veggies & Tofu. The flavor of both was right on par with the excellent appetizers. Portion size also very good, especially for the price. For me, if I'm being picky, the green curry broth could have been a little thicker, but again, the flavor was spot on so an excellent dish. Our waitress was very nice, cordial, smiling, friendly, and efficient. The entire wait staff checked on everyone, a good team effort. Only negative of the evening was that the entrees came out a bit too fast and we were still working on the appetizers. But again, the place was busy and they were moving a lot of food so I'll assume it was a one off. Pru Thai is BYOB. Recommended? Definitely - Go here for...

A Fantastic Thai Dining Experience at Pru Thai! I had an absolutely wonderful time at Pru Thai in Lambertville, NJ! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cozy and elegant atmosphere—the decor with its plush seating, warm lighting, and tasteful artwork made it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every detail of our dining experience was perfect. The food was nothing short of amazing! The dishes were beautifully presented, and the flavors were authentic and bursting with freshness. I especially loved the vibrant Thai salad with its mix of fresh veggies and perfectly grilled meat—it was a delightful balance of spicy, tangy, and savory. The appetizers, like the crispy spring rolls with their flavorful dipping sauce, were a great start to the meal. Every bite was a testament to the care and skill that goes into their cooking. The location is also super convenient, and the overall vibe of the restaurant makes it a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. I can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu! If you’re looking for delicious Thai food in a charming setting, Pru Thai is a must-visit....

I recently had dinner at Pru Thai in Lambertville, NJ, and it completely lived up to the hype.

The service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing, and the prices were not bad at all considering the quality of the food and the atmosphere. The restaurant itself feels upscale and stylish, yet you do not get hit with the kind of over-the-top prices you might expect from a place with this kind of vibe.

To start, I ordered the Pru Thai Combo appetizer, which was on the pricier side but absolutely worth it. It came with a wide variety of bites, each one packed with flavor, and it was a great way to sample different things before the main meal.

For entrees, the chicken tamarind was incredible—light, crispy chicken covered in a mild sweet sauce that had just the right balance of flavors. It was so good I would recommend it to anyone on their first visit. I also tried the drunken man noodles with seafood, and that dish was just bursting with flavor. The portion was generous, and every bite had a perfect mix of noodles, spice, and fresh seafood.

Based on flavor alone, this was honestly the best Thai food I have ever had. If you are anywhere near Lambertville and craving Thai, Pru Thai...

Food was phenomenal!! From appetizers to drinks to main course. I was so full I couldn’t even fit in dessert. We ordered the rocket shrimp as our appetizer and it was so yummy! I ordered the seafood drunken noodles (not pictured) and I loved how they didn’t give the whole clam. I think it can be a little annoying having to shuck the clam out when eating it with noodles/pasta. I also like that they allow you to make a meal spicier! My fiancé ordered the Goong Oob Woon Sen. the flavor was very good but it’s definitely more soup-like.
