So I have been going to this place for a year or two. The only reason I go here is to fill water since it's close by home and helping small businesses. Mind you, I come in and out this place with my Mother in law and two kids. I started to notice that the elder guy keep been wierd following us or giving us a scrooge face towards us. There was one occasion when he came at the back and asked me what I needed. Mind you, he knows we come and get water every other week. So I replied nothing WHY? He just walked away.
The Following Week on November 27, 2023, we went again this time now. He tells my mother in law to next time leave her purse in the car. Mind you, I also had my purse, which he did not tell me anything as he saw me. So while I was filling the water, I asked my mother in law what he said she told me what he said. Now, this is the part that got me so upset because how would he tell her that knowing we be in there every other week. I went to the front at the cashier where he was doing the register, so I proceeded to tell him that next time, they should have a sign there that says no Purse allowed. Obviously, they wouldn't because no one will come in there. His reply was that the Boss Lady said that. Now, what got me more upset is I went in there two days ago to buy, and the lady never mentioned anything about no purse. So I know this man is lying. He has something either against race or women because I also saw someone post exactly what I went through.
Mind you there was an incident one day that these people left there establishment open and went home when my husband and mother law went to get water the place was open lights were off noone was there, if they were thieves they would of went in there and steal whatever was there, but God knows we are not people like that. The young guy even thanked my mother in law that she told him. This older man is really an unethical person. What if the person coming in with a purse doesn't own a car where will their purse be?? Sitting outside waiting for its owner?? No one with common sense will leave their purse in front of a register. Never again will they receive my services. I could go on with the inside, but if you guys want to go in there for yourself, believe you wouldn't eat their food, that place need Health Inspection and a good cleaning.

Read moreThey are serving food in styrofoam containers to eat inside and in to go orders đ„. Thatâs bad. I came very hungry and wanted to eat inside, but they just proposed me styrofoam containers, and that is the only thing they have. No alternatives, no aluminum foils, no special plastic containers marked microwave-safe or normal plates. They have a larger containers of aluminum foils intended to large orders only. The food itself is not cheap, considering that they serve it in cheap styrofoam containers. I wanted to order lamb kebab and the price for to go or eat inside was $19.99 without tip or taxes. I refused to eat there. And I had a feeling that they didnât mind. Styrofoam is generally not considered safe for hot food and therefore it is bad for human health when is placed hot food in it, as it can leach harmful chemicals. Also the foam can break down and transfer small plastic particles into food which can cause problem with health. I was forced to go to another place to eat by being very hungry. I didnât even have a chance to try their food since they donât provide alternative plates. I donât recommend this place for people who care about their health since it is not safe to eat from styrofoam containers.
They have Arabic store next to the cafeteria. They have fresh and good items there. I put overall two stars for the whole experience. They didn't give me to try their cheese as well which sale by weight. Well ok no...
Read moreIt used to be the best, but I'm not sure what happened. Not sure if management changed or what. About 3 years ago, it was the bomb. Now they don't even make their own gyro meat; they use some thick frozen slabs that they reheat on a pan. (They still have the spit to make their own gyro meat but they haven't done that in a loooong time.) They run out of chicken shawarma all the time, which has also gone down in quality.
There used to be two male cooks who made the food and ran the place, efficiently and focused. Now there are a few ladies who work there, who are always more concerned about receiving a tip, even when you take out, than making quality food. It's not a welcoming atmosphere and I can no longer recommend this place anymore.
The parking lot is always full of homeless people hanging out. The parking lot is super shady but I use to risk it for the good food but not anymore. I will not be going back. Im giving it a 2 star instead of 1 because the food is still edible, unlike some really bad places. Too bad because their baklava is really good.
I also want to add that the amount of food the give you has been lessened as well. They only give you about a cup of rice, which use to be twice that. They give you only 2 slabs of reheated frozen gyro meat. Oh yeah, when I ordered 2 entrees, they gave me one pita bread for each. They have definitely...
