Burrolandia Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Lancaster

This place used to be the best hole in the wall kind of restaurant. But as of lately, their quality has been horrendous. It’s usually hit or miss now. More miss than hit, I’ve ordered frequently enough to make that comparison. Today was the last time I will order from here. Ordered burritos, experienced a long wait which is usually great cause you assume its fresh at the very least . Nope. Had a burrito filled with onions. Literally. And on top of that, a Luke warm burrito. Salsa, usually phenomenal, was meh and skimped. Filled barely halfway in such an already shallow container. Just feels like there’s no pride in the food or service anymore and really a huge middle finger to the customer since the quality of a burrito can’t be checked until after consumption lol. The asada in my burrito was also chopped to oblivion so there was barely any in there. Barely any rice. Just onion and a thick layer of beans. Refused to replace an incorrect asada taco with al pastor. Two duplicate orders, both wrong.

My friend and I ordered asada burrito and al pastor tacos, but for tacos we were each incorrectly given asada instead. He called to inform them, and they suggested we come pick up a couple of the pastor tacos to fix it. Shortly after, they called him back saying that the chef claimed they were the correct pastor tacos and wanted photos of the asada. By then we already ate the asada tacos and couldn't provide proof, so in the end they refused to give us the tacos we ordered. My guess is that the chef intentionally gave us asada then lied about it. It was about 1.5 hours until closing, but that's no excuse to get lazy and make cheap substitutions with customers' food orders. I'm Afro Mexican and when I walked into this place everybody looked at me as if I was lost. They didn't won't to say high but the lady acknowledged me after I said hi first. I ordered a California burrito and it was nasty and they put old expire french fries in my burrito. If you're a colored person you will get bad customer service and your food might be tainted. Go to the tortilla grill the food and energy is 10xs better and they treat colored people equally. All food is fresh at the tortilla 😀 grill. But this place is for a chosen few. I stopped going to this place but I decided to give them one more chance but they failed me again. I'm never returning. No stars for this place.
