This is the only Del Taco in Lancaster I will eat at. I have been eating at Del Taco since the first store opened in Yermo, and then Barstow. I net Mr. Naugle personally, when he open the first Del Taco and then Naugles in Lancaster California. Del Taco on Sierra Highway in Lancaster in the 70s was the place to hang out after high school events on Friday evenings. Del Taco would see a thousand customers Plus on those Friday nights. Who can never forget there $0.25 hot fudge sundaes, the biggest in town approximately 16 to 24 ozs. Since then Del Taco franchise boom has exploded. This is the only Del Taco in Lancaster that consistently serves you with quality and timeliness. I have had too many bad experiences at all of the Del Taco locations in the Antelope Valley less the one in Quartz Hill, and in Palmdale at the 14 freeway off-ramp on Palmdale Boulevard, and of course this location on 17th Street East and Avenue J. I applaud the workers and management of the store. My experiences here have always been good with the food and the service. The late night drive thru is the best in town. This is the only Del Taco in Lancaster that can cook a hamburger and french fries right. The two aforementioned are not bad either, drama but this is the best in the Antelope Valley. Sad enough to say the 15th Street West and Avenue I locations have yet to fulfill my standards of quality and customer service. Sad enough to say I will always give them a second chance, after all Del Taco beats Taco Bell hands-down. Del Taco makes their own refried beans, and Taco Bell uses rehydrated beans. If you ask for extra cheese and pay for it at Del Taco you get extra cheese. If you pay for extra cheese at Taco Bell you might get six additional slivers. If you're looking for the best Del Taco in town, then a I hope you find it here as I have.
REVISION [1[ 12/04/2018 An outstanding meal tonight. Food was cooked perfectly and served in a prompt timely manner. The only thing keeping me from rating this Del Taco with a 4-star is the restroom is as filthy or worse than the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy family and I visited the East Lancaster and was already greeted by the manager āGiGiā rudely and didn't feel welcomed. We continued to order our food, and one of the cashiers read our order back to us. Once upon receiving our food, we left to eat our meals at home and noticed our food was smashed like if it was rushed and shoved in a bag, did not provide us with our complete order. My husband decides to drive back and try to get our order correct. The manager rudely tells me husband he did it and it was his fault our food was smashed. Another thing we noticed is that they added bacon to the meal, and we never asked for bacon when our family members were Allergic. The manager again told my husband he placed the bacon in the burger, and it was not her fault.
Once that's situation happened, I called via phone to get the site store number and the manager's name. The cashier answered and told me the information. Still, once we received the managers' name, she provided me with the nickname āGigiā I asked once again for the actual name of the regional managers and started she didn't have one and failed to provide me with further information. The cashier placed my phone call on hold and hung up the line.
This manager handled the situation wrong, unprofessional, and plain rude. I am highly disappointed with this site as we have been coming for years, and all of a sudden, this happens. It is also sad to watch these new cashiers' managers treat customers and learn from that behavior.
My question is, what will be done? How is it going to be handled? What type of requirements do you seek in an actual manager? Or qualifies an individual to be a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGood evening, My name is Madam CJ The Hair Doctor owner of the First Mobile Hair Salon in Lancaster Calf. I have a Mercedes Sprinter with a high roof of over 6 ft. and a air conditioning unit that sits on top of the 6 ft. Sprinter. My sugar had gone low and I needed to eat, so I parked in front of Del Taco because I knew my Sprinter wouldn't get past that Height Bar. It was after hours around 10:45 p.m., so I got up my vehicle and proceeded to knock on the entrance door. I explained to one of the employees which was a Hispanic female, that I had a Sprinter and she looked and seen it that wouldn't gold pass the height bar. And asked her if I could order my food there. She replied no because drive-thru was only open, I then I asked her to speak with the manager. A male manager came to the door I told him my situation, he seen my large vehicle and he told me that he normally doesn't do this but go through drive thur. So, I walked over to where all the other vehicles were and got in drive thru line. I waited forever and walked to the speaker and the female employee Ruby or similar to that name, ask me was I walking through drive thru and I told her yes the manager told me to. She said hold on I'm going to go ask the manager, she said I asked the manager and he said he didn't tell you that. I said he did, so she said I'm not going to take your order. There was a car behind me and I asked him if he would place my order for me and he said yes. Not only did he place my order but he paid for it. Today people are quick to be rude, and nasty for no reason at all. I will never go back to that Del Taco on Avenue J...
