Orale, this place is a secret treasure. The family and I sat down and went through the menu. The breakfast Menu was available. I got the eggs with chorizo plate, and corn tortillas. The waitress was quick and the service was good. The chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. Before we knew it, we ate them all and wanted more. We had the pleasure to.try their Jamaica and Orchata. I have eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants across the U.S. and California has some of the best but this location's Jamaica was undeniably good. If you compare any chain restaurant, you might notice some differences, this Mi Ranchito Mexican Restaurant had the best Jamaica I ever tried here in the U.S. or in Mexico. I also don't understand it but Wow delicious. I thought it was like Mexican candy as a drink it was awesome, and I don't mean because of any sugar, it had to do with such a strong and delicious flavor. The Horchata was also delicious, not overpowered with the cinnamon or milk after taste. Going back to the Chorizo plate it was more than enough, the prices for the serving sizes were great. The wife got the carne asada plate at it was delicious. It was perfectly cooked, moist, and seasoned. I enjoyed how they have different heat levels so the entire family can enjoy. They provided 3 salsas from mild to spicy and I made the mistake of doubting the flavor by asking for taxation. The waitress provided me with Tapatio but I didn't need it. The depth of flavor from the salsa Rojo and (y) Verde was not only enough to compliment the food but it gave the dish a whole different flavor profile. What can I say, try this place yourself and don't pass on the different flavors. I took the salsa and put them on some street tacos. Which by the way had the best price for the size and amount of meat. I spent the same amount on some fast food (which was not great) and I was hoping I had found this restaurant earlier so I could eat it again. This was an awesome experience and I look forward to going back again. I am actually thinking about taking family and friends over to enjoy the experience with them when they get into town. Place has a B Rating right away, so you know what you're in for. Hard Tacos or Soft tacos, they are all filled to the top with huge chunks of low quality meat and chunks of fat, so every bite is a mouthful. This is all cold and no warmth to it, of course. Made a while ago, and then assembled when ordered. The beans had this weird chemical after taste. The rice was just barely okay and held a similarly weird after taste.
