Visited today for first time so tried a variety of items. Ordered 1/4 dark chicken, with yucca fries, beef and chicken empanadas, and the chicken bowl. Also tried all 3 sauces they offer.
Absolutely amazing. All of it. The charcoal roasted chicken fell off the bone and was very flavorful. Yucca fries were crispy and delicious with all the sauces. The bowl was a very plentiful amount of food and each element in it (notably the plantains and rice) was delicious as well. The empanadas were admittedly my favorite part with both being great but the chicken a favorite. The cilantro sauce was delicious and no heat, the aji sauce was very light with a solid medium heat, and the hotter sauce (whose name escapes me) brought some solid heat to the meal.
To top the amazing meal off, the GM stopped by the table, asked us about our meal, our thoughts, and gave us a little rewards card. All the staff was super friendly and kind. Parking was also great as they have their own spots and overflow across the...
Read moreFrisco's came up as a suggestion from Google maps yesterday. So glad we decided to try it today. We chose curbside pickup; which was super convenient. Downside was the food smelled so good it was hard to wait the 25 minutes until we got home to eat it.
We ordered the family meal so we would have leftovers. We did attack the Yucca fries on the way home because I just don't have good delayed gratification for something that smelled that good. They were hot and perfect. We added the cilantro sauce to it and that became a bit addicting. We will be buying the 8 oz version of it next time. The chicken is moist and full of flavor. We did try all the sauces with the chicken and it did not disappoint, but also not needed. They became the dip for the fries. Three distinct flavors and the right amount of heat in the yellow and red ones. The Peruvian fried rice was also very good. The whole meal just makes us have to go down the full menu. Needless to say this will become a...
Read moreThis is my first time here with two friends one who lives right across the street and is one of their biggest fans. Now I understand the hype this place is amazing! As I often do when I go to a new restaurant for the first time, I ordered a couple items just to get a taste for what they offer. I chose the empanadas and was not disappointed. Some of you may be familiar with typical empanadillas and don't get me wrong I love those with the ground beef or cheese but the lomo saltado took it to the next level. Amazingly flavored beef and the generous proportion as well inside of a homemade shell. Chicken was also a hit in a wonderful yellow sauce and the aji sauce made it all taste wonderful. Last but not least I cannot forget the cheese with just a lovely amount of soft creamy cheese inside of the empanada. For dessert I had to try their tres leches which was great! I don't think I ever remember having it with cinnamon but it was a wonderful ending to a...
