KAZE Sushi — Restaurant in Lancaster

Wish I could give 0 Stars. Bland Miso. Sashimi was gritty and appeared partially cooked with chili sauce. Low quality fish, did not appear or taste like sushi grade. Salty salad dressing. Salmon skin roll was disgusting, offensive fish taste, and presentation appeared like the leftover fish bits were piled on top. Even the simple CA rolls were loose. Soju was bottled and was simular to Puckers, unlike the previous owners homemade. To top it all off, the waitress sat and stared at us, listening to our every word before talking about us to another staff member. She was complaining that we walked in 1 minute before opening... which we did not. They were just a bunch of young, unskilled and unprofessional employees. To be fair, the sushi chefs were courteous even while we left upset, and they can only do so much with poor quality...

I tried Kaze Sushi in Lancaster twice to make sure my first visit was just as good as my second visit! First time I sat at the sushi bar with sushi chef Danny which he is awesome and second visit we sat at a table. Well... last nights dinner with the family was yummy! Finally, a good sushi restaurant in Lancaster!! After trying a few different sushi restaurants and being disappointed so many times... yes finally Kaze Sushi is here! Everything was delicious and they were really good with all our special requests, ex: sauce on the side, no cucumber in the spicy tuna roll for the lil ones... no mistakes, everything was excellent!! The staff is so friendly and such a beautiful ambience. All plates came out beautiful!! Unfortunately I did not take any pics but I will on our next visit! This is one of our favorite places now...

I went on 1/10/2023 for my birthday and I was so disappointed, the table was sticky and so we got disinfect wipes and cleaned it and it was so dirty. So I went ahead and asked them to please wipe it down which they did but not the best( she did it quickly and not all the table) . The service was bad they took the order and once we got our food they forgot some item's 🤦🏼‍♀️. In addition the waitress never came by to ask if we needed refills, napkins or something else , I had to keep putting my hands up for help until I got up and asked for help SMH!. The service was bad and the food was ok but not the best. I won't be returning at all. I sincerely hope they do better with customer service for other customers. Definitely not worth the money we paid. Or the tip we left behind. My birthday dinner was a...
