Pier7 Juicy Seafood & Bar — Restaurant in Lancaster

VERY POOR CUSTOMER EMPLOYEE SERVICE RELATIONSHIP. I PLACED AN ORDER TO DINE IN. AND THE SAME ORDER TO CARRY ORDER THE HOST DELIVERED BOTH ORDERS TO ME @ THE SAME TIME. I BEGAN EATING MY FOOD ONLY ATE 2 SHIMP 2SAUSAGE PIECES A TASTE OF EGG, & A TASTE OF POTATO AND EXPLAINED TO THE SERVER. I HAVNT TOUCHED THE ORDER SHE SAT IN THE CHAIR BESIDE ME ,BUT I WILL NOT BE NEED,BECAUSE I'M IS TOO SALTY FOR ME WITH THE CAJUN AND OLD BAY BUT I WILL STILL PAY SINCE I'VE EATTEN OUT OF IT. BUT NOT FOR THE ONE IT DIDNT TOUCH. SO SHE IN TERM WENT TO TALK TO THE RUDE ACTING YOUNG SHIFT GIRL OLD ENOUGH TO BE MY DAUGHTER HER LIL SMART SELF SAID OH OUR RULE IS ONCE ITS COOKED WE CAN'T TAKE IT BACK . I WILL NEED TO CALL THE OWNER. SO SHE WALKED AROUND THE STORE WITH THE PHONE AND SAID. I'M WAITING ON HER TO LET ME KNOW. BUT INSTEAD SAID AGAIN I CAN TELL YOU NOW SHE IS NOW GOING TO REFUND. I SAID MA'AM I HAVEN'T PAID AND WILL NOT BE PAYING. I'M NOT STEALING. I'M HAVNT LEFT. AND A HAVNT GIVEN MY CREDIT CARD. ME SO SMART KNOWING SHE NEVER CALLED A OWNER. BECAUSE SHE WALKED AWAY FROM MY FACE. 15MINS LATER. SHE CAME TO THE DOOR 🚪 WITH LANCASTER POLICE AND ASK FOR THE LADY TO COME HERE. I POLITELY DID . SPOKE WITH THE OFFICER HE UNDER STOOD EXACTLY 💯 WHAT I WAS EXPLAINING TO HER. I WAS WILL TO PAY FOR MY ORDER NOT THE CARRY OUT. HE ALSO SAID I ONLY HAD TO PAY FOR WHAT I ATE THEY JUST REFUSE TO REMOVE OFF THE TICKET. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. THE WORKERS SPENT THEIR TIME PLAYING ON THEIR CELL PHONE BECAUSE THEY ONLY HAD 3 OTHER CUSTOMER @ THE BAR THE FACILITY WAS DEAD WITH A LIVE LOUD GUY PAYING MUSIC AND TV'S ON. WE MUST DO BETTER TO KEEP THE BUSINESS FLOWING AND THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE ISNT IT. THEY SAID THEIR SIGN ON THE DOOR EXPLAINS NO REFUND MIND ME AGAIN I HADNT PAID. I DID TAKE A PICTURE OF WHAT THE POLICE AND I BOTH READ. THIS WAS SO PETTY TO THEM THEY DIDN'T EVEN ASK ME MY NAME NOW THIS SHOULD REALLY TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT THIS Restaurant Pier 7 Juicy Seafood...

I rarely leave reviews of places, but after my experience tonight… I had to!

1st: The service, AMAZING!!! Christian provided the best dining experience I’ve had in the area, in years! Polite, attentive, personable… I usually feel like I’m being treated as if I’m inconveniencing the server when I go out to eat in the DeSoto/Lancaster area, but Christian’s professionalism and personality alone we’ll have me coming back to Pier 7.

2nd: The calamari appetizer could have been seasoned more, and I was afraid that the appetizer was setting the stage for the rest of the meal… and I was gladly wrong! I had the Dungeness crab, shrimp, and sausage combo with Old Bay and medium heat. I’ve visited several other local seafood spots, and can say that Pier 7 is the only place I’ll be spending my money from now on. The meal was seasoned perfectly, the crab was fresh and tender, the shrimp were cleaned well and tender and the shells peeled off without any effort.

Definitely worth checking out, I know I’m going to be back, and I highly suggest that you ask to be sat in Christian’s section! Great...

I have never had to show my id to receive my food and unfortunately I drove 20min to leave with nothing. They refused to give me my food even though I had my confirmation email, confirmation text, a picture of my id, and the QR code they’re supposed to scan. I understand doing this to handle any fraud, but my order was literally less than $20 The manager said I would be able to add my partner to my order, we went up there with my phone for her to say she didn’t know how to do so and wasnt able to . I do not understand why it was even suggested to begin with.

Now I have to wait for a refund since they also aren’t able to do that for me and the website they use to receive online orders doesn’t answer the phone so they can issue a refund Walking in this place smelled horrible, and I’m somewhat glad I didn’t get to eat the food. the other reviews show the smell has been there for a while, and like others mentioned theres apparently constant management changes, but I still believe the smell is a bigger issue to attend to then keeping a $17 order hostage for...
