After living in the AV for 6 years we decided to try something new since we were heading to the movie theaters. We went off reviews and decided to give it a go. What we ordered Asada torta Asada burrito 1 buche taco Large lemon/cucumber drink 1/3 pound of carnitas Chips and salsa 1 water bottle
Location: not to best, but not the worse Cleanliness: clean inviting atmosphere, on a smaller scale. About 6 tables along with a long counter with chairs. Smelled good inside. Service: extremely kind, everyone! Cashier, cook and owner went far and beyond with customer service. A ++++++++++ helpful and kind to all walks of life that stepped in, no discrimination which is a plus for us. Asked if it was our first time. Even gave us a sample of their carnitas without me having to ask. I told them the reviews lead me here. But a few people said carnitas were a little to salty. I'm glad he insisted on me trying the sample. It lead me to order $7.00 worth of just carnita meat. It was amazimgggggggg. Food: asada burrito good and large 9/10. Taco 10/10 fire! Torta asada 10/10 yummy carnita meat 11/10 out of this world. Salsas 7/10. Pico dgallo 10/10, chips 8/10, aqua Fresca 10/10
Our family will be back! And I highly recommend this place. Thank you so much for making our first time experience a remarkable one. We wish you...
Read moreWalked in started looking at menu over their counter and then I was told in Spanish by the cook behind the cashier that they're closing in 30 min and that if I can eat that fast then I can stay. Never have I dealt with that type of environment. It's like my family was an inconvenience to this cook. He should know that in this industry the client should never be treated that way. Even If your business says it closes at a certain time..it was our first time there.. so how would I have known that..I don't think it's polite to say that. You made us feel unwelcome. If it's 30 min or 10 min before closing then maybe you should post that the kitchen is closed an hour or 30 minutes before closing or just lock the doors if it's such an inconvenience to your personal life. Next time I'll ask ahead of time if my order works for his schedule..but probably not .since we'll never go back. Mi ranchito would NEVER treat customers like that. No wonder other Mexican restaurants are expanding and this hole in the wall is barely making it in that shopping area. Ended up at the restaurant across from this one and I'm glad we did. Fix your customer skills, because you...
Read moreThis place had been my favorite for quite sometime and I think their taco carnitas was the best not until recently I ordered 8 of them for take out and it was so salty that even my daughter and her bf couldn't eat it. I thought probably the cook forgot and added salt twice or what. I went back the following day and talked to the owner who was supposed to be a friend already coz he knew I work close to his business and I asked for a replacement coz what am I gonna do with the remaining 5 tacos since nobody's gonna eat it anymore and he and the cashier tried it and of course they both said they're not salty at all and that it's the same taste as they have been on business for 7 years already. But God knows, I didn't complain about the taste or anything, it was just the saltiness on that particular day that I ordered. Other than that, it was always good. I wouldn't mind about their denials but he told me that he will replace it this time but next time, he's not gonna do it anymore! Wow! in other words, don't come back anymore!! Is that a good customer service??? In other words, I can't go back to complain again...
